‪This is our third year having seasons tickets and each year, the played are better. This season for us ended with Hamlet and a NY production could not have been more moving or entertaining. I have never had tears in my eyes when Hamlet dies! Fantastic plays are produced in this gem of a building set in rural Maine. A treat for everyone!‬

‪Classic plays in contemporary settings.‬

‪Fabulous actors in well directed plays with creative sets. Shakespeare, Arthur Conan Doyle, Noel Coward and many other excellent classic and contemporary playwriters. of "Baskervilles: A Sherlock Holmes Mystery" playing this summer was fantastic!‬

‪Great summer theater‬

‪Not much going on in the evenings in south central Maine in July but the Theater at Monmouth is a special treat. We have been coming up to Wayne, Maine for the last 5 years and each year we see 2 plays at TAM. Some are Shakespeare, some are comedy and some are drama but the acting is always excellent (very enthusuastic) and we really enjoy coming here. Highly recommend TAM if you are looking for an evening event--good for adults and families.
Just wish that there was a restaurant in Monmouth where one could get a dinner beforehand.‬

‪This Place is a Hidden Gem‬

‪I have lived in Maine almost 30 years and only recently visited this theater. The building is amazing. Beautiful reconstruction of an old theater. The shows are inspired community theater. This is a "must see" when you are in Maine or have visitors.‬

‪Outstanding performances in a beautiful theater‬

‪We visited the Theater at Monmouth for several shows this summer and they were all excellent. In fact, we were so impressed that we bought season tickets for next season. The theater is in beautifully restored, and most excellently air conditioned, Cumston Hall.

Theater at Monmouth is a very special place and a Maine treasure. Highest recommendation.‬

‪Less than Enchanting April‬

‪What happened, TAM? This was my first play this season. The house was nearly empty on a Saturday night. Usually love your shows but this one fell flat. The pace was slow? My girlfriend and I almost left after intermission. Glad we stayed for the nude scene! Looking forward to Richard III.‬

‪Diamond M For Murder‬

‪If you haven’t visited this summer live theater, I highly recommend it! There is a variety of plays all summer long-some Shakespeare and some just good old fun plays! Last nights Dial M for Murder was FABULOUS! Such a talented group of professional actors Simmering in our Maine community. The historic Cumston Hall is such a beautiful place-we’ll worth the visit as well! Take the time to see the few plays left this season-you with t regret it.‬
