Really fun farm to take the family. Went for a recent pumpkin patch. Plenty of animals to see and pet. Place is well kept and there were only porta potty’s. There were a couple of food trucks and indoor areas to hide from the sun. Plenty of activities for kids to enjoy. Parking can be tight so make sure you come early.

Parking was horrible and the lines to enter were out of the park . I would recommend until ample parking is available. It took more time to park than see farm itself

We took my 8 year old niece here. She enjoyed it but definitely more for younger kids. The property itself was beautiful with tons of things for the kids to explore!

Wonderful memories from enchanted forest. Loved the layout. Favorite seeing the animals and feeding and petting the goats! Well worth the visit. Great family atmosphere.

My family came here today. We have an almost two year old and a six month old. Our toddler had a lot of fun running around and feeding the goats. He definitely would have spent his entire day there. It is a nice outdoor venue for families with young children.

My granddaughter loves this place. It is really funky with tableus of fairy tales for the kids to enjoy looking at. The cow train and the regular train are a hit with little kids, but they don't have much in the way of suspension so you will be jostled a bit! Of course, the big attraction is feeding the goats. A negative is that the only restrooms are porta potties. We bought our granddaughter and family a yearly pass she loves this place so much.

This was a surprise and absolute joy for a Sunday afternoon! After reading about the farm, the goats and the procurement of the Enchanted Forest exhibits in Smithsonian Magazine in the morning, I immediately planned a trip for that same afternoon.
I went alone (probably the only one with no kids in tow!) because the draw of holding and feeding baby goats was too irresistible. The farm was crowded but we all had ample opportunity to hold, pet and feed the goats. Kids everywhere were loving the horse/pony rides, looking at animals, the train rides, and all the exhibits. There was also a delightful fairy path that had plenty of gnomes and toadstools.
I would encourage even people without kids to visit, if you love goats, beautiful scenery, and enjoy seeing kids (and their parents) of all backgrounds having a great and relaxed time. Will bring a picnic with friends next time!

Went to enjoy a day out with my family today. As I’m taking my kids for ice cream a woman by the name of Nancy that works at the farm angrily came out to the ice cream line and said to the nice guy serving ice cream “you need to tell “these people” to move the line around”. Now being a black woman and hearing whites woman say this I felt VERY much offended! She might as well just said “you people” which is VERY offensive to a black person coming from a white personal! We asked her name to tell the owner and she was super aggressive and said “we can go together”! Now she beat us to the owner who’s name is Martha, when Martha came out she also had a bad attitude. At this point we felt no need to even address Martha. Instead of saying something to us the customers, she approached the nice guy serving the ice cream in a very aggressive and in angry way. I left feeling like this is somewhere that I’d rather not ever spend a penny.

I came to the farm today and the customer service is terrible. A woman named Nancy came out and yelled at the customers for forming the line wrong at the ice cream truck. There were a group of African Americans and she came out telling “tell THESE people that they need to move” I asked her what her name was and she got very hostile. She asked what i needed her name for and I said I wanted to report the bad service. Her response was that she would go report me. 2 minutes later the manager Martha came out and she too had a bad attitude. She did NOT apologize for the bad customer service or say anything to my group. she simply walked out with an attitude and placed cones where the line should form. I have been to this pumpkin patch yearly but I will NEVER return again. I felt the behaviors were racist and inappropriate. I plan to tell everyone I know to pick another farm to visit. This was a HORRIBLE experience. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!! Would give zero stars if I could

My friend and I took our one year olds here today and it was the perfect way to entertain them for a few hours. We started with the animals and had purchased a bag of goat feed for $1 at the entrance. There were big goats that you could get in the pen with and pet, little goats you could feed through the fence, and maybe a dozen other animals to watch from afar such as an emu, sheep, cows, horses, bunnies, chickens, a donkey, and the biggest sheep dog I’ve ever seen. The babies were tickled to pet the big goats and watch the younger ones fight over our feed. Next to the goats there is a place to was your hands.
After that we set up a picnic on some blankets under a tree. There were at least 3 covered areas with picnic tables and trash cans if you did not want to sit on the ground. There was ample space for every family to spread out and still be sufficiently distanced.
Next we checked out all of the old enchanted forest equipment. Everything was spread out and no area was too crowded. For the most part we only had to wait a few moments a handful of times for a family to finish up and move on before we could play on something. Some pieces are showing their age, but nothing looked unsafe, and the babies would never notice.
We ended with the fairy garden and then the maze (two areas of shade). Both were very cute and the kids were totally engaged in the whimsy.
We skipped the train, hay ride, and horse ride. Horse ride did not look very worthwhile but we may pay for the train next time. I had wanted to do the little cow train but it wasn’t running this day.

There may be restrooms in the main building where you purchase the entry tickets. There is a gift shop and snack bar including ice cream.

What is the admission charge for kids (all ages) and adults? I could find this information nowhere on the website.

Click on petting farm link to get to the page re: admission. Scroll down a bit and it says that admission is $6 per person and children under 12 months are free. There are additional $2 fee for pony rides, haywagon rides and cow train rides. Season passes are also available.
