Very nice wines reasonably priced surprisingly found in an art gallery. Local artists work presented in a pleasant environment.

Nestled in the cozy seaside town of Snow Hill, Bishop's Stock is located a hop, skip and a jump from the charming Chanceford Hall B&B. Prior to our trip, I googled places to see in Snow Hill and found Bishop's Stock's Facebook page. So my boyfriend and I visited on Friday and were pleased to discover a local artisan's oil paintings and a unique selection of fine wine. The owners were friendly and welcomed us. I was delighted to find free Jelly Belly Beans in a glass bowl on a counter, and we were tickled to meet the owners' two dogs. I am not sure if they welcome other furry friends, but I am sure that they could tell you prior to your visit. We enjoyed our time there so much that we promised to return the next day. Low and behold, my boyfriend proposed to me that evening at the Blue Dog Café! When we visited Bishop's Stock again, we shared with them that we were engaged. Very kindly, they gifted us a bottle of exquisite French champagne! I highly recommend you visit! There is a romanticism about the gallery coupled with elegance yet down to earth which would seemingly be an enigma but it all comes together at this lovely gallery.

I love this gallery because it's got art for all budgets. Love the handmade jewelry as well as 2-dimensional art. Gallery also has wines and a wine club which I participate in. And, being a dog lover, the owner's dogs are often there to greet visitors which they love to do! The gallery also hosts an annual Plein Air event in April which is one of the best in the region.

Enjoy a stroll through original art many times representing the eastern shore of Maryland by some of its finest artists. An excellent selection of wines as well. Well worth the trip.

Bishop's Stock is worth pulling off the road to the beach. In charming Snow Hill, it has world class paintings at affordable prices and one of the most interesting selection of wine you will find anywhere. Ann Coates and her staff (and her cheerful, polite dogs) will welcome you, your dog, your children to browse the intriguing collection of carved wood sculptures, fun postcards, handsome jewelry and eclectic clothing while you decide which droll animal painting by Lynne Lockhart or enchanted landscape by Kirk McBride (and other world class local artists) to add to your collection. You can stock up on wine for your week at the beach from a delicious selection from everywhere. Enjoy a quick and yummy lunch next door at the Harvest Moon while your brilliant new painting is wrapped.

We were out walking thru town w/our lab and found that this gllaery/shop on W. Green St is beyond dog-friendly. Ann, the owner even went next door to her husband's office and brought her dogs over for a play date. She was totally unflappable about the dogs running all around the gallery and even got our dog a bowl of her own water. In addition she explained all about the monthly rotating artist exhibit and the First Friday openings and wine tastings.
She told us about her wine selections and wine club which seems to be a great value if you live close enough for a pick up each month. In addition to the featured artists in the front of the gallery, she had work of other artists, including jewelry & reasonably priced cards and post cards. We all felt so welcomed & had such a great time & came away w/cards and wines. We definitely hope to return and recommend a stop if you are nearby.

In addition to the featured artists in the front of the gallery, she had work of other artists, including jewelry & reasonably priced cards and post cards. The art here was beautiful and the staff very friendly. She shared the story behind the artist and the pieces being shown and gave us recommendations on other places to visit in town. A great place to see local art and pick up a bottle of wine!

This a classy art and wine Gallery, with some of each. On the first friday of the Month. An artist or two is featured and often present. Four wines are featured and you get two free tickets to try them. There are also other galleries and shops to visit. Bishop's stock is also open on other days.

If you happen to find yourself in the charming town of Snow Hill, make sure you stop by The Bishop's Stock Art Gallery & Wine Bar. Ann Coates, the owner, has created a wonderful atmosphere in which to view and purchase some of the county's best art. The revolving shows are always well attended and supported by the community. 1st Friday Art Stroll is not to be missed, as she may be sampling wines that night as well! The wine selection is amazing, and she also showcases fabulous jewelry , weavings and sculpture. Ann is a friend to all in the community, and the town of Snow Hill is so lucky to have her!
