Huge football statdium located about 60 miles south of Boston. Expect a bit of traffic if driving on gameday or travel by train to avoid traffic. Stadium is located in small twon beside a mall/outlet. Staidum is well designed for easy entry. worth a trip to experience a NFL game.

We went to Gilette to see the Kenny Chesney, Dan and Shay, Old Dominion and Carly Pearce concert on Friday night and was blown away by the venue (our first time) the smoothness of the concessions, the ability to move people, the high class entertainment and the fans!! We will be back!!

Lamest NFL stadium and fanbase I have ever experienced. Quiet as church mice. Corporate, sterile, mall-like venue. This is what happens when money trumps accommodating true sports fans.

I have attended several games at Gillette over the years. I am not a Patriots fan, but that does not color my perception. The good news: Sight lines are good and the actual game experience is noisy and fun. The bad news: accessibility to the stadium is a major issue, with those staying until the end of a game doomed to long traffic jams. Additionally, it can be tough to move around the concourses before games, as they simply are not large enough to accommodate the crowds.

Typical large, modern American sports stadium with parking surrounding and the interesting large dining complex on the grounds. On the whole, the stadium as very clean, staff fairly well organized (parking lot folks were helpful). Prices were not too bad for a stadium and good lines of sight everywhere. The concessions were well spaced and moved quickly. While we were visiting, there was some significant construction going on at one of the stadium to update the video board and that caused some inconvenience/confusion getting around the stadium.

Greate layout. Tens of thousands of people in line to get in, but it moved quickly. The only issue was that the commuter rail didn't run to Foxboro the day of the concert. We took it to the last stop before the stadium and ubered the rest of the way. Coming back, the rail had ended service for the night before the concert ended, so we were SOL. Got lucky finding a nice couple to drive us back most of the way. The rail needs to run for special events. Aside from that, amazing place and experience.

My wife and I are in our seventies and when we got to the gate after walking a mile and a half from the parking lot, her small Coach clutch was ONE HALF AN INCH larger than their picture and they wouldn't let us enter. Two of the gate attendants said it was ok to pass. Then as we passed through the first gate she was told to go for additional screening. The screener took everything out of her clutch and searched it thoroughly. Then she passed her to enter. As she started toward the gate anther attendant stopped her and said that she couldn't take the clutch with her. They said we could throw it in the trash or check it at the locker. The clutch cost nearly $150 so we decided to check it. The lockers were this mobile container located about a half mile back from the way we came. When we finally got there it was cashless and we had only cash. The attendant took the $20 cash and gave us a claim stub.
When we got back to the line we saw several people place their clutches under their jackets and walk right through unchallenged. Furthermore we saw a young girl with a very large purse get searched like my wife had been. After that they let her continue through without checking it. When we protested they said she may have had a medical reason, which was unlikely.
The gate personnel were young, rude and arbitrary. There didn't appear to be any management or supervision present. That, along with placing the mobile locker so far away instead of nearby demonstrated a complete disregard for the well being of the guests. My wife's clutch was thoroughly searched but was not allowed because it was Half an Inch longer than their copy. Absolutely ridiculous and abusive.
After we got through the gate, we found some people sitting in our seats. There wasn't a single usher or worker anywhere to be found. The seat crasher got abusive and nearly caused a fight with us. Thankfully he left cursing us profusely.
Needless to say, it really disrupted the evening and impacted our enjoyment of the show, which was otherwise exceptional. We decided that we would never, ever go back to Gillette Stadium. It's just not worth the pain.

The traffic management is awful. Worst I've ever seen. Ubers gave up on us - left Kenny Chesney concert at 11:15 p.m. (20 min before end of show) and couldn't get an Uber until 1 a.m.! Thought we were going to have to sleep in the parking lot.
The fans here are horrible as well. Just truly mean people - even at a happy event like the Kenny Concert.

The lines inside the stadium were absolutely terrible tonight at the Kenny Chesney concert and it took forever despite the weather and well after the storm
The end of the concert was unacceptable…there was over a hundred people waiting for Ubers in a parking lot a mile away that waited two hours for previously booked rides but they couldn’t get through to the designated location. After people waited for two hours we were forced to take cash only rides from cars because we had no way of getting home. The previously booked Ubers canceled those rides so we were forced into paying fares 3 times what we were booked for and drivers said it was because of Gillette’s parking system. It was absolutely terrible how Gillette Stadium does not have a better pick and drop off system and left their guests to sit for hours and then have to pay insane prices to get to their location
I had a booked price on Uber for $57 to get back to my hotel but because Gillette made it impossible for rides to come in and out, I had to pay $200

Hello. How does the Uber lot work? If I schedule an Uber in advance for Game Day, how do I find my ride (I assume there will be hundreds of Uber drivers)? Do they send me a specific parking space number so that I can find them? Does anyone have any experience scheduling an Uber in advance to meet you in the Uber lot? Is it better to schedule in advance to avoid price surges or can the price still fluctuate once booked?

theres nothing they can do about the traffic it is what it is. the residents dont want people cutting through their quiet back roads so have forced the cities around there and town of walpole, foxboro do do road closures. YOu just have to get to the stadium early and spend the day unfortunately it is how it is there's also occasionally a concert train and patritots train to and from the venue. A tip, you can always take commuter rail down to Walpole (there's also a bus line from Forest hills ) just check the MBTA times on the website. the bus line is 34E from Forest Hills, you could grab an uber/lyft to the North Street McDonalds and walk in from there.

The residents who lived there no longer allow people to cut through their neighborhoods to get to eh stadium they forced the town to close down side roads and make only 1 way in and out on route 1. Nothing they can do.
How far is fox pro train platform from entrance of Gillette stadium?

its a short walk from where the Pro Shop/pats hall of fame is on the NE side of the stadium (Also the movie theater) side to the train platform. leaves 30 min after (RIGHT ON TIME) They do not wait so BE ON TIME. DO NOT BE LATE. Right train to Providence, Left to Boston. Need a special ticket to purchase before hand (round trip). Pats train is the best way to get there if you don't want to drive. Other possibilities. Commtuer rail to Walpole, and then uber/lyft to the mcdonalds on north street and then walk into the stadum from the North Side. Route 1 traffic is horrendous.
Can I bring a portable toilet for use in the parking lot at a tailgate? Also has a pop up privacy tent..

Great woods shuttle is a company who will transport you from your hotel to patriot place and back. They have this service for all games and concerts.
Is there a shuttle from lot 15 to the stadium

I don't know but I suspect there is a number to call to find out. Note: Women especially should check on the size of purse they intend to take into the stadium. They must fit withing a very small template which is taped to the table at check-in. My wife and other women were being told, :"You may not bring it in! It is too large. (7" X 9") You can either take it back to your car or put it in the trash bin here." This is a truly absurd rule, much more restrictive than TSA at the airport. Much more restrictive than Fenway Park. Stupid rule! Be careful or they will confiscate your purse. Bring your stuff in a baggie.!
