This is a place not to be missed! We feasted on the talented artists' works beautifully displayed and, as we understand, rotated regularly with all the talent living and working in the historic artists colony. We met Bonnie Twomey, a charming, beautiful artist herself there and greatly encouraged our conversation with her! She added to the joy we experienced in this wonderful Cultural Center!

Several savory restaurants within the art colony on the waterfront and lots of interesting shops to view or take the water taxi over and ride on it all day for one fee ($12 ?) Several nightly music venues and very fine nearby dining. Special events in music an art are scheduled throughout the season.

The Cultural Center at Rocky Neck is owned and operated by the Rocky Neck Art Colony, one of the oldest Art Colonies in the US. The Cultural Center is an art gallery with ever-changing exhibitions of painting, photography, sculpture, crafts and more. It is situated in a lovely former Christian Science church, which is a wonderful space to display art. The Cultural Center houses other activities, Tai Chi, an evening guitar series, lectures, and even weddings. And it is a gathering place for the Rocky Neck community. Information and schedulke is available on the website of the Rocky Neck Art Colony.

A dedicated group has turned a church into a community gathering place, with excellent art shows, talks, and other programming. Most recently we saw an exhibit of art focused on birds, with many creative and witty pieces. Check out their upcoming events!

I beautiful space to see local art. Rocky Neck is a vibrant art colony and the Cultural Center features outstanding artists from the region. Many works are available for sale.

Local artist display their art in painting, ceramics, jewelry, lectures etc. Good way to spend time visiting Rocky Neck and the many other galleries as well.

all the galleries are within walking distance of the car parking lot nearby. start at the cultural center and then head for restaurants arttst's galleries one after the other as you walk this scenic route.
