Great Organ. Organist was world class. Full command of keys and petal. However the Wanamaker is a finer instrument, and of course it wasn’t Vergil Fox at the console.
I had never experienced this instrument. In fact it was my first visit to the hall. A return is in the offing especially if they get another world class organist like this fellow.

I was lucky enough to participate in a concert held here and was so surprised I hadn't heard of it before. The organ is amazing and has a wonderful, unique history behind it. The acoustics in the hall are also really good for both performers and audience. It's a lovely space, and would probably make be nice venue for other special occasions besides concerts. I've heard that the audience seating is a bit uncomfortable, but hopefully that situation will be addressed. Definitely worth a visit in conjunction with a concert.

It's strange to enter such an extravagant music hall and have to sit on cheap plastic folding chairs.

This organ hall was built specifically to house the magnificent organ. You would have to hear it played by an expert organist to really appreciate its glory. Look up "Methuen Memorial Music Hall" in your search engine to really appreciate its history. There are organ concerts listed also.

The organ itself is pretty impressive, especially if you get to go behind it but the room is a bit old and run down. If you are in the area, check it out but, I wouldn't make it a destination trip.

I got married at MMM in 2004
They have an annual craft fair and we always attend with the kids.

This was the wedding venue for a wonderful couple we are blessed to be friends with. Not only is the building amazing for pictures and events, but the couple organizing the event knew every option and helped everything run so smoothly! We could not recommend this place enough!

Amazing irreplaceable building. ....fantastic place to listen to a concert or attend a wedding. This facility's interior could never be duplicated.

I was at the Music Hall for my cousin's Wedding last year. A beautiful venue! The history inside this building takes your breath away! ( You can read more about the history of the organ and the Music Hall if you Google it.) The Nevin's Family left this magnificent Music Hall to our town and it is definitly a must see!

I haven't been there in a while, although I did go past it on Monday. I've been to organ recitals there, back in the early 2000s, but I'm not really out that way too much, as I live in the other part of the state. I attended the OrganPower concerts there, where Marshall and Ogletree Associates put on recitals where they used Rodgers organs, along with the one at the Music Hall (they represented Rodgers at the time, but now have their own brand.) It was wonderful to hear both organs being played at the same time, and the acoustics are wonderful in there. I also have attended a couple of other recitals there as well.
