The staff are very knowledgeable and pleasant. I had a great shopping experience and picked up 3 presents.

I always have a great experience w/ Whitelam Books. Wonderful service, excellent knowledge and advice. I know I can count on Liz to guide me, especially w/ gifts and rec's for kids.

Its always nice to have a local bookstore. This one offers all the top picks that are out in the published world.

I was thrilled when I heard Reading was getting a local bookstore. In this day and age it takes courage to open an independent store - and the team at Whitelam is making themselves a destination. Their selection of books is well curated - and if they don’t have something they will order it - often to be available the next day!
They have great programming and I look forward to more author readings and other events.
Definitely go to Whitelam!!

Very quaint and pleasant shop! The staff is very kind, attentive, and helpful. This is a great place to browse books of all kinds, to sit and read for a bit, or to chat with staff or other guests. Also if they don't have what youre looking for they are more than willing to order it for you!

We love Whitelam Books. They carry a wide selection of books and will oder anything for you. They have events in house and offer a lovely selection of kids and young adult books too. Every town needs a good bookstore, Whitelam is a great on
