‪I am a fan of glass so I definitely made sure I had the Sandwich Glass Museum on my list of stops when I visited Cape Cod this past September.‬

‪I had visited the museum 30 years ago in the old location. New location is very well laid out, with history of glass making and the Sandwich factory. Enjoyed watching glassblower Peter make spiral shell Christmas ornaments. We came back a few days later (when they had cooled) and bought a few. Lots of glass pumpkins in gift shop of all colors and sizes. Gift shop also has glass works from local artists, not just the museum artisans. Probably not that interesting for kids. My parents had many glass objects from the late 1800s and early 1900s, which I inherited, so I was interested in comparing them to what was on display. One of few museums open all year.‬

‪enjoyed watching the woman blow a glass pumpkin. It was interesting to see how different colors were molded together. So much to see. I loved it.‬

‪Lovely exhibits, great history of glass working‬

‪This is a lovely museum with live glass blowing demonstrations. There are a plethora of exhibits, describing the glass industry in Sandwich as well as other parts of Massachusetts. I was especially happy to see modern glass artwork. The museum shop has a nice selection of jewelry and decorative glass for sale. The museum was a bit crowded (a rainy day), but I did not feel constrained or impeded in walking from room to room.‬

‪Excellent history of glass making in Sandwich. There was also a demonstration on how they make glass at the top of the hour that lasted about 10 minutes. Very interesting. Just the glass that was in the very large museum was incredibly interesting. ‬

‪Lovely museum, great demo‬

‪I’ve driven by many times over the years and today - in the rain - we finally visited. The museum was much bigger than I expected and it was very interesting. The highlight was definitely the glass blowing demonstration- amazing. The kids liked the scavenger hunt and it was a nice way to spend an hour.‬

‪A fun and different experience on the cape‬

‪A unique experience. The museum itself was much larger than I had anticipated. Lots to see and some really interesting exhibits. The glass blowing demonstration was very cool to watch. The gift shop was also fun to look through and had a wide range of items to purchase in various price ranges. Something for everyone.‬
