My family and I were visiting Sharon over the Christmas holiday and our host encouraged us to visit Ward's Berry Farm, for which I am very thankful. This was one of our major highlights from our trip. The kids (3 kids under 5 years old) loved riding in their green wagons (probably meant to carry produce), had a ton of fun on the unique play equipment (the giant piles of dirt were actually probably one of their favorite pieces to play on), and got to feed the pigs through the fence of their enclosure. There is also a working-farm aspect, so the kids got to watch a tractor spreading manure on a field which was also very exciting for them. There were lots of other kids here so my kids always had playmates around their own age to play around with.
We also treated ourselves to a little soft serve (Brownie Batter and Cotton Candy, both quite tasty and only a little more than I would've paid at a DQ back home) and then sat down for a delicious fried lunch of Onion rings, chicken tenders, and home fries. While waiting for my food, I was at first a little peeved, I waited 18 minutes and multiple people who ordered before me got their food ahead of me. When I asked the man behind the counter though, he explained that all of their fryer products are hand breaded and prepared fresh; nothing is frozen. And the food was worth the wait! The home made breading was crispy and delicious and the chicken tenders were significantly better than what you'd get at most restaurants (with the exception of Culver's and Chick Fil-A). The home fries were a wedge cut potatoes with a great blend of spices, all three were better than I was expecting and (I thought) reasonably priced for the quality. I would love to visit this place again in the summer (maybe there will be berries?) and have another delicious fried picnic.

Amazing place to host a kids birthday event! Started with hayride, blueberry picking then time under our private tent for the kids to use the bounce house. Ordering pizza was great as they know the farm. We then use the beautiful property to let the kids run around the playground and the large bounce area as well. I would definitely book here again.

Such a beautiful place! Lots to do for everyone. Staff is very nice. Fun experience.Will definitely visit again!

We had a 4th birthday party with plant a seedling. I was so happy with the experience all of the kids had. They loved the bounce house- great space to meet near the covered pavilion. Hayride was so fun for kids and adults. The playground area is fantastic the kids loved the new structure. Everyone we worked with was helpful and answered any questions I had. We will definitely be back for a visit.

We hosted our daughter's 3rd birthday at Wards and the farm itself was fun, the premium tent was a bit far so guests got a little lost but we mostly had fun.
I'm not recommending this place as the manager, Toni, might be the rudest individual I've ever spoken with/met. I 100% understand with Covid that people are busy and what not but we called to reserve the farm and saw there were no 2 hour spots so we rented it for 4 hours to make it easier. We very specifically stated the time we would arrive and then spoke about having our hayride 30 minutes after arrival and were told that would work. We booked from 2:30 to 6:30 and told Toni guests would come at 3 and we'd want hayride at 3:30 which was confirmed would work. Toni was agreeing to everything and took the CC to charge the deposit. On the site it does say the hayride will start at the time listed but we're talking to the manager on the phone and assumed they knew what they were talking about.
I called Toni for 5 days straight the week before the event to confirm our guest list and go over details such as table sizes, what we could decorate and not, and a few other questions and she didn't call me back till Thursday(2 days prior to the event so I couldn't even order anything). She told me our hayride would leave at 230 and there's nothing that can be done. I pushed to get it to 3:30, the time we agreed and she threatened to cancel our event. My wife and I changed the time of the event so everyone got there earlier than originally posted the day before and most were able too.
On the day of the event, I got an email saying call if I needed any help and when I got there, I called 5x and no response so I didn't know where to go or park to unload snacks, drinks, etc. The area was not clean, there were pizza pieces on the benches and sauce everywhere so I had to clean the previous party's mess up first and then setup my decorations.
We paid for a bounce house but because of the wind it wasn't working. I had to text Toni to understand if we could use it and she came over and simply said it's unsafe and cannot be used, but if I never asked we would have had kids in there and who knows what could have happened. Toni said they'd refund this but who knows what will happen as I haven't been sent an actual bill.
The worst thing that happened was she made my 3 year old daughter cry on her birthday party. We were getting on the tractor for the hayride for 3 pm since instead of the 1 hour ride we were doing the 30 minute and my wife was on the phone with family coming in from CT who were literally walking to the tend and Toni said if we're not on the tractor now she will cancel the event(time was 3:04) and yelled at my wife and I in front of our daughter. This is 1000% uncalled for and the worst customer service I've ever seen/felt. That's no way to treat the hosts who are simply trying to allow their guests to enjoy what was paid for.
Toni is the sole reason I'm giving this place a bad review because she made my daughter cry during her own birthday party. I'm hoping management/ownership reads this and works with their staff on treating families with more respect and courtesy as this was very upsetting.

We wanted a fun half-day expedition while the grandparents were in town, and berry picking won the vote. Ward's was the choice on account of convenience to the Metrowest area where we live (1/2 hr drive) and a nice selection of fruit to pick.
When we got there, we found it had a good deal more to offer, hayride and playground area and very friendly and helpful staff (and more on that later).
Having picked some blueberries and raspberries, I brought those to the car while the rest of the family went to pick peaches, then met up with them, brought them and the peaches to the car, and ... oh bobbins, where is the car key fob?
The staff checked the lost+found, and sympathized and promised to keep an eye out, which is all pretty much expected. But above and beyond is when one person took some time off the regular job to help search, and also when eventually someone found and turned in the fob, they drove it down to the peaches area where I was searching. That's customer service worth commemorating, so here I am.

Our summer field trip to Ward's was a success! We are a school that serves students with autism.
Thank you so much to the event team. I appreciate, their thoughtfulness and knowledge of our student population. The students had a blast!

We booked Ward's for a 4th birthday party and it was incredible! The staff was super friendly and helpful and the tent was nice. All my guests had an amazing time, I received so much positive feedback from everyone, and most importantly my daughter will remember it all her life.

Ward's is known for their fresh produce, but it has more than that to offer: Hayrides, 4-H animals. picnic area, slides, and flower plants (annuals are great) The strawberries are fantastic (and you can pick your own if you like) and the corn is coming!

This farm is such a special, beautiful spot! We celebrated my daughter's 6th birthday at Ward's Berry Farm and had a fantastic experience! We enjoyed a covered hayride to a private strawberry field with the sweetest strawberries we've ever tasted! The kids had a blast playing on the playground and visiting the farm animals, too. I was especially impressed by our party guide/tractor driver -- he was so friendly and helpful. We enjoyed cupcakes and snacks in a special, tented area with 4 picnic tables (area is reserved for parties). I highly recommend Ward's Berry Farm for birthdays! They are fun, unique, and affordable.
