‪Native Views is a free attraction on the Mohawk Trail. There are loads of big statues outside for some interesting photo opportunities. Inside the shop they sell handmade jewelry, dream catchers, books on various Native American topics, smudge sticks, maple syrup and candies, mugs/souvenirs, worry dolls, gemstone trees, games/toys, clothing, and Mexican blankets.

There are picnic tables outside on the right side of the building. It's a great place for a break from the road. I thought it was a great little shop to visit. I see these negative reviews and I don't get it. Lighten up Francis, life is too short.‬

‪Sadly, this "iconic" place is still operating, still putting forth a image caricature, stereotyping, and cultural appropriation of Indigenous People. This is Mohican and Nipmuc territorial homelands, not Mohawk - and they certainly did not have anything to do with Plains cultures. Eastern Woodlands cultures are from this area. It is very disheartening to see the continuation and prevalence of such misleading representations that take away so much from so many vibrant cultures of Indigenous peoples. This serves no one in the long run, other than the store owner.‬

‪As a kid I remember stopping here with my family when we would be out enjoying the fall foliage along the Mohawk trail. Recently my mother and I decided to take the drive along the trail again and we came across what use to be known as the Big Indian shop, now known as Native Views. I was excited to see the outside looks the same. Such a great roadside attraction and it is free to get out and take pictures. The teepee may need some paint next year, but still fun. The inside of the store had a lot of interesting items, local flavors for sure. Unfortunately it had a funky smell inside so we didn't shop. Too bad because it is the type of place like to explore in.‬
