We are at bird park very often.
It's a beautiful place, with a few hidden short trails for hiking, an awesome playground for young children, a huge grass field and sports court.
There's something for everyone!

Nice wide concrete paths once in the park. The entrance on Polley Lane is steep, grass and a dirt path. Another entrance on the opposite side is more suitable for wheelchair access. Nice pond and different style bridges to meander along. Bird watchers can find song birds at the bridge over the dream leading to the pond. Many people walking their dogs and a nice fenced in playground for children. Professional photographers need to pay a fee and apply to rake photos. Very relaxing and large park. There are port a potties near the playground too.

I was born in Walpole and although my family moved away my grandmother lived there for years, so when I visited her I went to Bird Park. It was so awesome to be able to take my nephew and great nieces there to share the experience. The kids loved the playground where there were lots of riding toys for them to play on in the old tennis court area.

During an extended stay in Walpole, we visited the park several times with our new granddaughter. Clean, safe and fun for all ages

Beautiful park. Has playgrounds and lots of activities throughout the year, summer movies, pumpkins in the park, art in the park. Wonderful place. Playground for young kids and even a dog play area.

We have been to Bird Park many times while visiting our grandchildren. The playground is great. Lots of swings and other apparatus perfect for the 10 and under crowd. The grounds are extensive so plenty of room for biking and hiking. They offer special events throughout the year. Great place!

We’ve been having picnics, taking our kids to the playground and walking here for many years. It is a great place for walking the path in the fall with the leaves changing. I wish people would be better cleaning up after their dogs but still a great place!

The town of Walpole is fortunate to have such a great resource as Bird Park. It has a little bit of everything.... walking trails, open space for a game of Frisbee, play area for the kids... they even have tennis and basketball courts.
The Friends of Bird Park even host various events during the year....
You can park in various locations around the park, and easily walk through the park to reach your desired location...
