The trails are great for the able bodied, benches in some spots. Main building has owls, turtles, rabbit to view, running water under a small bridge. Handicapped parking is not well organized with the ramp at the furthered part of row from the building.
Farm a disappointment--saw 1 goat and 3 chickens . That was it. Entrance path is stones, difficult for wheelchairs and walkers.

Like visiting a museum after hours, or getting backstage for theater, we had previously signed up online and now gathered at 6 p.m. as the darkness was deepening. A resident Great Horned Owl (deep-voiced male) was calling for a mate, so the leaders directed us silently and stealthily out to the starlit patio for a listen before the indoor part of the program began. We got to hear recordings of the three most frequent owls around (west) Michigan: the tiny Eastern Screech, the middle-weight Barred, and the big one, the Great Horned Owl (not counting the massive Snowy Owls that sometimes pass through). After some Q and A, half the group was led by S. for a close-up talk with the injured, sheltered owls of the Center. The other half was led by L. into the starry night woods on the wide trail to call for the owls. Later the group visited the outdoor residential spaces for the bobcat, for the albino mink, and for the (endangered) Barn Owl with its snakey neck movement and white face and front. So much owling tonight, so close-up! What a rare opportunity to learn this part of our world that mostly is unseen and unsearched.

I am very happy they are enlarging this property. It is a nicely wooded area for kids and adults to grow through together and learn about the birds and animals even endangered animals. It is clean and well layed out for walking trails and tours. I went this past summer looking for milk weed to see how the butterflies were doing. Of course I took the camera, and was very glad I did. I love the owl at the front door. He's cool, how he turns his head and watches everone who goes by.

Such a pretty little setting, lots of nature with trees and animals. I loved the rescuing of owls and providing a safe place for them!!!!

We became members this year so we can go and walk the trails. The owls they have at the Nature center are rescues and can't survive in the wild. We have enjoyed this place for years.

We try to go several times a year just to refresh our souls under the trees. It's especially beautiful in the fall when the leaves are changing color! There are boardwalks that make it easy to access quite a bit of the pathways (even if you are in a wheelchair) and literally miles of paths to explore if you're up for long walks. They charge a $3 admission fee if you don't have a membership, but it is well worth it!

Love the outdoors and day hike options here! Awesome bird watching if you are into that! The main building has some animals you can interact with.

The festival was really well done and I actually learned a great deal from the student actors. It was well worth the nominal fee for a nice afternoon.

Blandford Nature Center has recently opened a new visitor center that is great! There is plenty of outdoor activities, like a children's play area, farm animals, and hiking trails.
