Called on several occasions to set up back massage, pedi, mani...unsuccessful. Either not the right person working, not open select days / times, no availability...I gave up after 3 strikes.

Thank you for your review! We hear and understand your feedback. Our massage therapists book up quickly and sometimes they aren't always readily available. We recommend that you call with a time frame of 2-4 weeks for your massage so that way the chances of getting an appointment are much higher. We hope to hear back from you soon!

I am extremely hesitant to give anyone a five star review and it has been years since I have. That being said, I had the best deep tissue massage of my life this past Sunday. I will be recommending Janeen to anyone who requires deep tissue therapy. I also have not considered regular massages in the past, but I plan to return to this location regularly going forward.

After suffering with two S.I. Joints injured for 2 months and living on Motrin, I decided to take a chance and see if I could find a therapist that could give me a more sports injury massage. I found her!
The facility first of all, is very clean and (although a small waiting room), very nice. The gals at the desk are ALL awesome (I've talked to 4 now and all have been friendly and warm and helpful)!
I chose a therapist named Janeen. I actually walked out after an hour without ANY PAIN! I had been limping for two months! She listened carefully and actually did what I asked her to do!
I was so impressed by this place I signed up for a membership which allows me to have massages discounted from the typical hourly charge: a good discount! There is no tricky contract or pushing for you to sign one. I OPTED to because it takes a lot to impress me with massages!
My only wish is that they had infrared saunas like a competitor of theirs. If you come early you can have a heated neck wrap prior to going in for a massage, but it cannot compare to a nice private sauna room other chains offer. Maybe after reading this they will consider adding rooms like that. I'd even pay more for it.
Overall I'm giving 5 stars, even without being as modern as I'd like. I think they deserve this rating based on the personalities of the employees, cleanliness, and good membership program. Happy they are only 3 miles away from me too!

I had a facial here. I went to go grocery shopping and looked over and saw the spa and decided I needed a treatment instead of grocery shopping. Great price, good facial.

Bought a "couples" massage for my mom and I for her Mother's Day gift. It was her first massage EVER (yep, she is 70 years old)...she is HOOKED! Since then that is our gift for each other for every occasion (birthdays, Christmas, etc.) It was great to spend the time with her and relax together. This place is amazing! The staff was professional and amazing at what they do. I highly recommend them!!!

I have been going to LaVida for 8 months now and have seen three different people. I always go back to Brandy. She is amazing. Very attentive and knowledgeable in helping with any problems I have come to her to help ease. She has shown me some techniques I can use at home to help and I always leave her feeling so much better.

The minute you walk in and smell the aroma therapy smells you feel calmer. The staff is professional and friendly. The heated beds are great. The only complaint, which is a small one, is that it can be a little noisy when people are walking to or from their room using a full voice-not sound proof. Other than that this place is the best!

I have found several massage therapists here that have done a good job. You will want to tell them what kind of massage you want, relaxing, muscle busting, therapeutic. The people are very nice and the facility is comfortable. I recommend it.

LaVida is a calming oasis is the middle of Lake Orion, don’t let the strip mall location deter you from visiting. Once you step through the door the serene interior will lull your senses into relaxation. The staff is professional with a wide range of skills, from Swedish to Deep Tissue massages. I have been a loyalty member since the doors opened and I always look forward to my monthly visit. I am not going to divulge the name of my favorite massage therapist—he is already far too busy!
