There is a 2 menu item purchase/person (visible on the ticket purchase); however, with our waitress, I’m not sure it would’ve been possible to order 2 per person. She came and got our order well into the first act (I ordered 2 drinks/person) and it took her 30min to bring us drinks. I understood they were busy and wasn’t upset about that, we brought drinks in just in case.
The issue was, we NEVER saw her again! The group behind us never even got their drink, but couldn’t tell our waitress because she didn’t come back to check (or ask us if we needed anything else). Bad business! I feel like a business wants as much money (without overwhelming their staff) but this women didn’t even ask us for a 2nd round.
Thank goodness we ordered our 2 minimum per person right away!!

Located on the 4th floor of the Mall of America, seeing a comedy show is a great way to end a day of shopping! Their food and drinks are great, and I've been very happy with all the shows I've seen here. They have great local comedians hosting the shows, and a lot of touring comedians and celebrities perform here, it's definitely smart to check their schedule regularly!

I visited Rick Bronsons the evening of Thursday, December 16th. I had arrived to my nearby hotel shortly after 3pm, after driving 5hrs for the purpose of dinner and a show to see the headliner. I checked my email once I got settled in at the hotel, to find an email with the news that the comedian I had travelled to see, did not make it to MSP for the Thursday show. Local talent would fill in instead. Since I had the dinner and show ticket, and I was unable to stay an extra night or 2 to see the show, I decided to show up for the dinner part of the combo. I did not stay for the comedy show. And I had no desire to exchange the ticket for another show in the next couple of months. I did show up around 6:30, and can tell you the meal I had was delicious. I had the stuffed chicken breast, with vegetables, and roasted potatoes. I had a yummy salad, and for dessert, a very yummy pc of cheesecake. In fact it was so much food that I was unable to finish the cheesecake. All the people I encountered at Rick Bronsons were very nice and helpful.

Just saw Josh Blue tonight. Acoustics were horrible. Unless you get there early and sit in the middle towards the front, you won’t hear anything. The only audience laughing were the 40% that could hear it. Complete waste of money. They have 2 speakers for the entire space. They should be embarrassed. Our entire group wasn’t able to hear 95% of the show. This is basic acoustics. I’ll never visit this place again. Josh Blue is amazing, very upset none of us were able to enjoy his comedy.

Nice Evening.
Typical Comedy
John Heffron was the featured comedian. He was funny, appealed to each audience member of all ages. Typical comedy club. Cocktails were good. Fun evening out. Would recommend it if you are staying in the area and looking for something fun to do.

We were looking for something to do, and they had a Groupon deal for a weeknight show. They did not disappoint! Super clean, friendly and helpful staff and the food was great! The next time we’re coming through Minneapolis, this will be one of the spots we check out!

This was my second visit during the pandemic. This had three comedian including a headliner. The comedy was very good for the female comedian. The headliner was also good but ended completely overreacting with a guest. His arrogance and contempt for a few customers was ugly. He wasn't funny then and it left me wishing I had never come. While I enjoy comedy this was one very bad experience.

We were here the week of Thanksgiving and we had a great time. The food was good and the drinks were great and reasonably priced. We had such a great time on Wednesday, we decided to go back again on Saturday to see the new headliner. Very accommodating staff and very nice bartenders and servers.

It was my first time at the House of Comedy, I was not disappointed. A group of friends and I went to see headliner Samuel Comroe. The service was ok. After the show started, we had to request drinks/refills 3x before the waiter remembered us and brought us our drinks. This happened twice. BUT, the Comedians were hilarious. The room is a good size to fit a full house easy, but will not impact your personal experience. We sat in the back at high tops. Easy to see over everyone's heads and clearly see the stage without obstructions. The bathrooms were a little hidden (especially the females). Apparently the hit at House of Comedy is the cheesecake. It was so much a hit Friday night, that it became a bit for the Headliner (7 groups by the stage had cheesecake on their tables). The whole point of the night was to celebrate my birthday, to relax, laugh and have a good time. We did! At the end of the night we received complimentary tickets to return! My boyfriend and I will most definitely be coming back for more.

I had a booking for a group of 20-22 people that evening for a 40th birthday event. I came over early to check in and found out that the staff was unaware that they had a group that size coming in.
That said , they quickly made arrangements for my group at one of the tables towards the rear of the venue near the entry doors.
We were seated quickly and our orders were taken. Just before the show I and my fiancé went back out to the front bar area and were kidding around with the bartender and doorman all in good fun.
We took our seats again just as your opening MC comedian began his bit.
I have been to your venue on 3 other occasions and other comedy shows multiple times. As typical the comedian did interact with the crowd during his bit. While we were interacting with him, Steve Lunden walked up to our 3 tables in a very rushed manner and proceeded to yell at the top of his voice that we all need to “shut the hell up or get out of the club”. One of my female guest then retorted with a sarcastical comedy line of her own something about “can we get this ( mutter mutter – I could not her all her words)” to which Mr. Lunden again SHOUTED - “ No but I am the general manager and I can throw your ass out of here !!!”
Not only did everyone in my group go silent but the entire crowd as well. In fact, the comedian on stage tried to recover the moment but jesting, “Well I guess that concludes the audience participation portion of our show”
After he was done on stage he also came by our table to apologize for Mr. Lunden’s behavior saying that he felt it was partially his fault as he was indeed interacting with us as part of his act. I will say that at least your other staff tried to reconcile the event by buying a round of drinks for the table, but that only emphasizes more at how uncalled for his behavior was. This was a 7pm show with ordinary folks – not a downtown Hennepin back alley free for all with a bunch of drunks.
In my humble option Mr. Lunden needs re-training on customer service at a minimum and judging by his over the top rage-fueled outburst I whole heartedly believe that some anger management therapy would do him a world of good also. Bottom line is his behavior was unprofessional, rude and inexcusable.

I believe it's 21 and up bc when you purchase tickets there is a one drink minimum per guest.
