Ian and Ryan were nice. They have a lot of experience and guided us well. It was a good Kayaking experience(which can be done anywhere in the world) but we didn't see any Bioluminescence. Maybe a bit of spark but that's about it. They mentioned it's based on multiple factors but it must be mentioned clearly and explicitly. Ryan mentioned its very rare to see how it was advertised( blue and colorful). We thought it was guaranteed experience. The advertisement is not right. We saw nothing like what was advertised. So we are disappointed. Not worth the money and time.

Kia Ora Pradeepan,
It was lovely to have you out on the water with us. Glad to hear you enjoyed the kayaking, sad to hear you were disappointed with the Bioluminescence. There are a few variables as to what kind of show nature puts on each night, with your night being the deep water bioluminescence rather than the surface bioluminescence you see in the pictures. We understand that you're overseas but when you're back in New Zealand we would love to have you come out again for another go free of charge, as we would really like you to experience what we see most nights.

What a great night we had with our family as we headed out on our night kayaking bioluminescent tour to celebrate our birthdays. We loved the show nature put on for us!

My friend and I added this as our very last activity in Auckland before we flew back to the US. Our guide was so friendly, informative, and made sure everyone was having a great time the entire night. It started raining during our trip so the bioluminescence was a little hard to see but it was still such a fun evening. He even offered to let us come back to try again when the weather was better. To top it off, he found our waterproof camera in the kayaks and reached out to make sure it got back to us. Highly recommend for the experience AND the absolutely stellar guide.

The trip was perfect. Ryan was an amazing guide. Even if you’re solo I recommend going. I stayed dry and it wasn’t cold. The algae was so pretty and Ryan spent time trying to find the most concentrated spots. It was really magical. 10/10 would do again.

The most amazing night. Perfect weather, great guides and so magic seeing the bio. Twinkling in the water was like an avatar moment. Highly recommend

This was my first time ever kayaking and it was an amazing experience. Ryan, Peter, and Millie were our lead guides on this night kayaking tour and they did an excellent job leading us throughout the night so big thanks to them. They were very knowledgeable and their instructions were clear and concise. I wasn’t able to get any pictures of the bioluminescence in the water but we did see them. We only saw them really as we splashed our hands or moved our paddles in the water and then they would go away so it was hard to get any pictures or videos. Regardless, it was an amazing experience and we thoroughly enjoyed it! - Nolan

Incredible tour! Ryan and Peter are a good time and very knowledgeable. They told us all about the bioluminescence and knew the best spots to see some. Our group got really lucky as it was Guy Fawkes Night. We were out on the water watching the fireworks go off around us while splashing around with the Bio. Great memory.
