We enjoyed the atmosphere (fairly small and quaint) There was good variety of house made cocktails. Fun place to stop for a unique drink. Service was good.

Loved the whole feel of the building we were seated immediately. We did 2 flights as well as a snack box from Northern waters the alcohol was so good we each had our favorites we will surely go back and try others.

Really good distillery and really good drinks. Some smooth whiskey and tasty gin.
Vibe was nice too.
Getting the flight is probably the best idea, we'll definitely be going back on our next trip.

This is a really cool place! We ordered delicious craft cocktails and shared a snack box with smoked salmon, trout, nuts, cheese and olives. Great vibe and great service. There were many things we would have liked to try. They have gin flights, canned cocktails and distillery tours. We will have to return and experience more.

Tastefully decorated cocktail room with option to get pours, cocktails or tasting flights of spirits. No hot food but charcuterie boxes available and tasty. Would recommend. If you like herbal, spirit forward cocktails, get the “Oh, snap”!

We tried two different tastings of 4 liquors each and we ordered the Northern Waters Smokehaus grand snack box to go with all of that. That snack box is great, btw, with salmon, smoked whitefish, crackers, herb butter, cornichons, olives, sweet peppers, cheese. The sample liquors of 4 each at $12 is for less than a shot each which is great because then you can try them all between two people and not get drunk. We also had two cocktails, I had their summer slush special which was like a vietnamese coffee slushie and was very tasty. We liked the sample of their Spruce gin so much that we bought a bottle to take home.

We were in Duluth for the weekend and gave Vikre Distillery a try. The autumn 2022 menu is very creative with several unique options. Do not miss the 'Empire State of Mind' and the 'Root Sixty-Six', they were both amazing. Root Sixty-Six was even accompanied by a small dessert item. We also were lucky to have Hally for a server. Hally was knowledgeable about all the drinks, gave us an education on the spirits distilled onsite, and even let us try a few extra items. She was great at listening to our likes/dislikes while we reviewed the menu, and her recommendations were spot on when our drinks arrived. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we made a repeat visit the next night. Be sure to ask for a table in Hally's section when you go.

They are still serving their $26 chatura board out of a box. It was very disappointing. We did not know until it came to the table. And it was missing one of the advertised items.

Visited 3 evenings in a row for our night-cap. Really good cocktails with local flare. Chillen! Good vibes, ambiance and atmosphere. Small and comfortable seating area. Plenty of servers.
