I already liked the music of the singers the performers portrayed. I think this is important if you're going to see this play. To my surprise, I thought some of the actors sang better than the original singers. Eric Sargent has a much stronger and deeper voice than Johnny Cash. I wish he'd make an album of Johnny's best hits. Elijah Leer is as talented if not more than Jerry Lee Lewis. He was unbelievable with playing the piano and moving all around and singing all at the same time! Everyone in the play was exceptional with their singing skills, playing skills, and/or acting skills. My only tiny complaint is that it was too loud. People should bring their ear plugs, or they should turn the sound down a bit.

We have been to the Old Log a number of times previously and always had a great time with amazing shows. We just saw their current show, Million Dollar Quartet - it was incredible! The story was great and the music was out of this world. Highly recommend it!

The Brussels Sprouts on the appetizer menu are delicious and the Salmon dinner was cooked perfectly. We really enjoyed the play! Real talent on the part of the Queen and the Princess.

Got taken for ride to see a show. It was a surprise for me. What a great place and the production was awesome. Would recommend to all for a great evening.

Escape to Margaritaville is the best production ever at the Old Log. A must to attend. Great music. Upbeat. Awesome. Of all the productions in last 30 years this was the best

Great show, close to the stage for reasonable prices. Would like to go in the summer to see the beautiful landscaping.

Cast & Cru is located at the Old Log Theater and is open for happy hour and dinner.
The bar is great, warm and inviting. In the summer you can sit on the terrace which overlooks a small lake, trees - you'll feel like you are way up north...but you're just north of Excelsior, just off the east side of Excelsior Bay. Try the duck poppers and fries - delicious!

Saw a play with 2 other couples. We were impressed with the acting and found it a wonderful experience at an afordable price. The play was a comedy and very good. We will schedule a return visit.

We had never heard of this theater before until my dad mentioned it so we thought we’d give it a try when we where in town visiting. It is an awesome place with very talented performers. We saw A Gentleman’s Guide To Love And Murder and it was very entertaining and funny. The singing was great and the whole cast really were together and in sync. I heartily recommend this place.

Do you pay to visit the park

I’m not sure what park you mean at Old Log Theater. Parking is free. Walking around outside is free. You pay for tickets to see a show and you pay for food and drinks.

Our theatre is set up in two sections: Front section Rows 1-15/Seats 1-25 and Back Section Rows 16-25/Seats 1-20. We have side aisles only, no middle aisle. Patrons who prefer center viewing generally choose seats 11-15. Our most popular rows are 5-9. -Thank you for your inquiry.
