Picnic areas are plentiful, as well as barbecues, fire camps and playground for Littles. Paved bike trail and hike trails. Clean Restrooms. Everything soo well taken care of.
It is said that waking in the woods might reduce stress and increase energy levels. Definitely this Park is the perfect place for that. Trees are awesome, there are fantastic views of the Mississippi River along the hike trails. The place is peaceful, it's quiet, ideal for reconnecting with nature.

Great views of the Mississippi River and nice biking especially north near Schaar's Bluff and beyond. Nice fall colors. Alternatively you can head south of the Park Reserve and find the trail that takes you down to Lock and Dam Number 2.

Great Park with paved trails, wide dirt/grass trails, and also some smaller dirt trails that will lead down to the edges of the cliffs. Great views of the Mississippi River. Lots of Eagle and turkey vulture sitings! If you take the small dirt trails there is some terrain (not super difficult but watch your step) and be careful if you have little ones. You can go right to the edge of some pretty big drops!

VERY nice views above the river. trails for biking and hiking. Tar trails and grass trails. GREAT fall colors.The many times we been there hiking and biking We have never been in the Nature Center so do not know what that is like, looks nice outside.

Nice park not far from Hastings. They have a nice picnic area and lots of walking trails and in the winter cross country ski trails. I walk my dog there a couple of time a week. Sometimes there are picnics and weddings and graduations going on but most of the time just a nice quiet area to enjoy nature and a nice view of the Mississippi River and surrounding area.

Love this park! Great cross-country ski trails, great bike trails into Hastings, great interpretive center. Lots of room. Great view of the Mississippi.

I biked the new trail north of Schaar's Bluff and it was excellent. Afterwards I walked around the Schaar's Bluff area and saw that the view of the Mississippi are wonderful. I will certainly return! The paths are paved and there are plenty of benches. I highly recommend this park.

This park is excellent and is 1 of the best in Dakota. It has great walking trails as well as many places for picnics and outings. There are a couple of large overhead covered table areas. There is also a great building you can rent for small weddings or other events. Book way in advance because bookings are hard to come by, including the covered picnic areas. The view of the Mississippi is great as well.

I love this park; my favorite all time local park. Hiking, Biking, Snowshoeing, kids play area and pavilions. This is a great place to spend an hour or a day with the family. They have a small area for outdoor weddings; LOVE.. LOVE.
