Great River Arts is a community collaborative space that hosts art exhibitions, concerts, theatre, spoken word, and so much more. It is an awesome space that has a place for everyone. It is a happy surprise to find such a great venue. It is truly serendipitous and made my Little Falls experience memorable. THANK YOU for making a difference.

Great River Arts is one of Minnesota’s best kept secrets. The building was once a Ben Franklin store, so you can imagine how spacious it is. The main gallery is quite large and always has very talented artists showcased. I think they feature new artists every month or so. There is a smaller gallery in the front that is visible from the street. Additionally, there are two satellite galleries; one at the Morrison County Historic court house, and one in the lobby at the Family Medical Center. Admission is always free to see the wide variety of artwork on display.
Great River Arts is not only visual arts. They have performing arts as well, with live music often, open mic nights, and two or three dinner theater productions every year. They also offer a variety of art classes and workshops for all ages.
Their sweet little gift shop features art by local artists as well. A must see place downtown Little Falls. Go often.... things are always changing there.

My kids take alot of classes here because the schools can't always offer enough to satisfy my kids' thirst for art. We just completed a wheel-clay class that was quite a privilege for them.

Fantastic venue. Great art. Musicians that go there are fantastic. Great for families. Art for kids on some Saturdays.

This was recommended by our B & B host. The band was playing Frank Sinatra tunes and there was a good size crowd enjoying the music. The building had a cool vintage vibe and lots of really neat original artwork. We were told they sponsor a lot of unique events and art installations. Would highly recommend a visit!

Wow, what an awesome place to hold an event. The staff was awesome in assisting us and allowing us to hold our event here. Beautiful high class black tablecloths accented by white dinnerware was provided to us. They also provided a cash bar for us. The incredible Black and White restaurant next door is available to cater if you would like. Everyone enjoyed viewing the wonderful art displays during our evening there. Everything looked high class!

Have been to Great River Arts on several ocassions but most recently for the opening of a show they had just hung featuring members art. There was quite a variety of work - paintings, drawings, photography and sculpture and it was wonderful to see all the great talent. That said, I wouldn't write a reveiw just because of an art exhibit. GRA has so much more going on. They offer concerts, classes, and special events. They have a monthly open mic. night.
The staff is friendly and energetic and always ready to answer questions, explain things, etc.
Depending on your interest you may just pop in for a quick viewing of what's hanging in the gallery, or spend a couple of hours for a concert, or take a class and learn a new skill - it is truly a wonderful place.
