I try to visit here anytime I'm in the Twin Cities, and it's always a great stop for beer. The brews are consistently some of the best in the state, with a variety of classic styles done perfectly, modern styles done with innovation, and a broad range overall. Service is always good, the taproom is spacious and the patio out back is great on a summer day.

Nice smaller taproom along Central Avenue. Great place to grab some local beer before or after eating at one of the great international restaurants along the Avenue.

They just announced you have to have covid vaccine proof to get in. I'm not interested in sitting outside during the winter months. Won't be visiting again.

What a great place! It was packed with people and it was easy to see why. The beer is delicious. I loved that they had a large selection of sours. The staff was really friendly and helpful, and they were featuring the Saturday Dumpling Club which was a treat in and of itself. We tried both types if dumplings and they were a great compliment to our cold beer. Parking was tricky. We parked a few blocks away and walked, but so happy to have had a chance to visit.

The beer is delicious, the people are terrific. My favorite taproom in the Twin Cities. We went there with our oldest son and his sweetie - they recommended it and they were right!

Fair State is my favorite Minneapolis brewery! Their beer is outstanding and their co-op model means you can become a member.

Stopped in here during the Bitter Minnesota tour. The beer is great, with a nice variety of styles represented...including some cocktail type libations. We really enjoyed our visit, and I'd have no problems returning.

Visited the tap room one Saturday afternoon recently and was really impressed with everything. Great beer, knowledgeable, helpful beertenders, a fun environment, cool vibe, plenty of seating, convenient location, easy parking on the street and family friendly. The beer reigns as the star though – high quality ingredients and various styles make for a perfect beer. These guys know beer and their passion shows in every product they sell. All beer aficionados should make sure Fair State Brewing Coop is on their must visit list for the twin cities.

Nice brewery with wide variety of styles for everyone. Music loud, beers cold... aggravating that they only offer full & half pours (no flights or tasters 😥)... a bit of a bummer. Beer solid.
