‪2022 Christmas Lights Tour was boring and not at it was several years ago. Years ago tour offered two selections and was very entertaining. New ownership lacking entertainment value. Save yourself $$ and pass on the Christmas Lights!‬

‪Save your money. False advertising!‬

‪Was excited to book this festive way to see some beautiful light displays in Rochester 12/10/22. The write up on the website promises a holiday experience. I kept thinking they have got to take us over to pill hill area to see some of the mansions lit up. NOPE! This was a complete waste of hard earned money. The narration consisted of the driver speaking on occasion “I like that wreath”, “there is a Santa lit up” with no intonation or excitement. They did not even try to advertise the trolley for events etc. There was nothing exciting about this tour at all! I kept thinking I was on a Saturday Night Live skit or some hidden camera show, nope not even the excitement of that! It was lack luster, with so much room for improvement! Save your money drive around on your own.‬

‪Not Too Festive‬

‪We rode on the Holly Jolly Trolley Light Tour on December 10th. The description stated that it would be narrated, but it was not. The trolley driver did not say a single word throughout the tour. She simply got into the vehicle and started driving. We were able to see many holiday lights throughout Rochester, but nothing was very spectacular. The window next to my seat was broken, and was open about a half an inch. It would not shut properly, so I had cold air hitting me throughout the ride. They did play Christmas music (which was nice), but there really was not anything else that seemed special or festive, There were three of us in our group, so we paid over $100 to ride, and it just did not seem like we got what we paid for.‬

‪Very disappointing tour. A lot of driving around to see very little. Waste of two hours. Not worth the money. Would not recommend this tour.‬

‪painful two hours‬

‪We went on the holiday tour with some friends. I was expecting a jolly, exuberant evening, but it proved to be long and quite boring. It was two hours of driving around looking at holiday light displays, most of which were meh at best. And to top things off, the windows of the trolley were covered with condensation so when we did get to a display, the visibility wasn't great.

On the PA system, there was a local radio station playing Christmas music, which seemed pretty lame. I was hoping for a jolly host leading Christmas karaoke, but no such luck. People just kind of sat there grimly waiting for it to be over.‬

‪Had so much fun with friends on the brewery tour, got to sample some delicious local brews and took arguably the best brewery tour I’d been on with JP off Toppling Goliath brewery. All around fun trip!‬

‪Not a tour company‬

‪There was no tour. You arrive and get on a bus, where you are just driven to each winery. There was no information shared about the city of Rochester or the wineries you are visiting. I was very disappointed with my experience. It wasn't a tour it was a ride share, that you don't get to control the thermostat, the radio, or the time you spend at each spot. Our group would have had the same experience using Uber, but could have save a great deal of money doing so.‬

‪I live in rochester but have never taken the basic trolley tour. I enjoyed it and it was informative. I learned new things about places I see daily. Actually being on Soldiers field as the guide talked about Dr Mayo role during the civil war and describing some of the features of Mayowood as we are driving by is just better than reading it in a book. Take it in differently. Very pleasant, glad I took the time. Driver and guide were great. Taking the tour helped me see where I live with fresh eyes.‬
