Loved our 4 hour cruise on La Dolce Vita. It was relaxing, we saw lots of marine life (dolphins and sea turtles). It was fun to watch the dolphins swim along with the boat. We went out to Ship Island and into the Gulf.
Our family of 4 (kids 16 & 18) all had a great time. Mary Ann was awesome to work with designing a cruise for all the things we wanted to do. We would highly recommend a cruise with La Dolce Vita.

We took the sunset cruise with Mary Ann & Jim and had a fantastic cruise; it was the highlight of our trip. Wonderful folks and a great time. It is a must cruise if you are in the area. Will do again next time we are down.

This is a fantastic experience. I highly recommend it for a relaxing scenic boat ride. Jim and Maryann are great hosts. Our group plans to take another cruise soon.

We were so fortunate to have an opportunity to take a wonderful
cruise on La Dolce Vita on a beautiful June evening. Our cruise was a welcomed one after spending the months of April in May inside due to the Covid19 Pandemic. I truly could not have found a better company to patronize as our family had the opportunity to journey back into the world on “La Dolce Vita". In Italian “La Dolce Vita" means the sweet life. Our journey on the water with Jim and Mary Ann was truly a taste of the sweet life.
If you are searching for a wonderful private cruise for your family you need not look any farther than La Dolce Vita. First of all the journey is private and at a cost that cannot compare. We paid $290.00 for 3 passengers for a magnificent 2.5 hours cruise on the Gulf of Mexico. During this COVID19 Pandemic when people everywhere are seeking socially distance activities you need not look anywhere else for a quiet adventure. I guarantee this experience will provide far more than you paid. Jim and Mary Ann are so professional and kind to their passengers. Jim took the time to talk to my 9 year-old son about the yacht control panel and so much more. My son truly believed that he was an important guy on Jim’s yacht.😊I loved the attention that he gave him without reservation. Jim truly went above and beyond. In addition, if you are lucky you might even have the opportunity to see dolphins race alongside the yacht. Dolphins in the wild are fascinating to say the least. We saw a few while on our cruise. Feel free to bring your lunch or dinner onboard because there is a nice table to enjoy your meal. However, the best part of this journey is just sitting back, relaxing, and watching the sunset with such peace and quiet.
Our trip was truly priceless and we cannot put a dollar amount on the happiness we received. Jim and Mary Ann have so much more than just a business they have a beautiful love for people which was reflected in how well they care for us.

Jim and Maryann are great hosts!! You have your private group on the boat and the day is planned for what you want!! Totally enjoyed our day, and felt like we were boating with friends!!!

We had an amazing day! Booked with short notice, but Marianne and Jim were awesome. Had a great time seeing the dolphins and Ship Island. Must do again!

We had a fabulous experience on the 4 hour cruise from 4:30 to 8:30. It was wonderful to see so many dolphins in their natural habitat. We were also blessed with a beautiful sunset. Captain Jim and Admiral Mary Ann are so hospitable and ensure that everyone has a great time. They will point out dolphins that are leaping from the water as well as those swimming right next to the boat. In addition to the dolphins, we enjoyed the company of a beautiful red-winged blackbird as he grabbed a potato chip from Captain Jim. Mary Ann captures each cruise and the participants, including dolphins, with photos that she posts on the La Dolce Vita Cruises Facebook page. I can't say enough about the awesome experience. It was absolutely fantastic and we hope to do it again one day!

After reading reviews on Trip Advisor when looking to do something different with the family while on vacation in NOLA, we found La Dolce Vita Cruises. We contacted and spoke to Maryann right away who scheduled our trip. Maryann contacted us a day prior to our scheduled trip stating we were good to go with great weather for our sunset cruise. Captain Jim and Maryann were such wonderful guests. They are very personable and make you feel like family while on their boat. We got to see dolphins, the beautiful sunset, and got to learn a bit about the boat, the area, and history from Jim. The kids absolutely loved being able to see dolphins up close and I got to see a great sunset from the boat. If you are in the area it's so worth booking a trip with La Dolce Vita Cruises, we would definitely do this again!

Our family did the sunset cruise and it was great! Captain Jim and Mary Ann were superb hosts. We've seen dolphins before, but never from directly overhead at the bow of the boat! Very cool. We learned a lot about the region and its history, navigation, Ship and Cat islands, and more! Will definitely do this again if we get back to this area in the future. Highly recommend.

Thanks for inquiring! The prices vary depending on the length of the cruise you desire and the number of passengers in your group. But they start at 225.00 for 2 passengers for 2.5 hrs plus 15.00 for each additional passenger. We offer 2.5, 4 and 6 hr cruises for up to 6 passengers.
