The monastery is conveniently located on the way to Scopje; interesting alternative of the visit if you don't want to make a detour to another monastery which is located in the National Park of Macedonia ; beautiful experience to wander around the monastery and visit as well inside and get bewildered by amazing ceiling decorated with frescoes and surrounded by icons; the local nuns can tell you the story of the monastery and explain little bit about the main icon( you should ask one of the friendly nuns to do that); on the site you can purchase wild berries( great for heart), holy honey, holy water, the nuns can also offer tea and coffee; overall very peaceful atmosphere, the holiest place as per the history of Macedonia, not crowded with tourists, however might get busy with locals on the weekends;

It has an amazing view of the whole region including the city, small abandoned villages and simply put amazing landscape
