My daughter had her 5th party here today, I would like to thank all the staff for making lexis party so special. Everything ran smoothly, and all the kids enjoyed themselves. Great price and would recommend.

Visited Toyfields twice with my granddaughter and her twin baby girls. It is lovely, the staff are very friendly and my great granddaughters love it. It is a very popular place to go and is quite busy. Our babies are not walking yet, but they love to play and like to watch other children playing there.

We live local to Toyfields so we visit regularly and have to say it’s lovely.
The staff are polite and friendly and the place itself is bright and colourful with a good sized activity frame for over 3 year olds and a nice play section for little ones.
The food is of a good standard for play centres there’s lots of parking in the car park and also on the street.
We had our daughters birthday party there at the end of March and it was brilliant. The girls did everything to make it special and I’d say went above and beyond to make it memorable. We got a separate floor for the guests and a separate room again for the party food and games.
This is a shining example of a good, well cared for play centre and one which we visit time and time again.
You will not be disappointed...

I visited on a Thursday about 40 minutes after opening. Most tables were full of families with very young children having breakfast. First the plus points:
-lots of parking, plus a bit of space on the street if needed.
-cheap. 4/2£ for walkers/crawlers, and they don’t charge parents. Though there was also a sign up to say £2 only on Thursdays, which might have explained the popularity.
- no obvious time limit or price tier system
- opens until 6 most days
- lots of food choice. No gourmet sarnies (not sure I’ve ever seen a soft play with these tbh), but plenty to choose from, slightly healthier options too, and a huge breakfast menu served until 11:30
- nice and secure. No one can just walk in or out without the staff letting them
- clean
- not noisy like your average aircraft hanger-style soft play
-staff are friendly
Negatives:
- Billed as suitable for babies. There’s a small area with a slide for them, but there’s not too much in it. Imho it’s much better for 3-7 year olds
- the baby area is teeming with children over 2 despite many signs. This makes it really unsafe for babies who are crawling.
- as with most soft plays, many parents sat with coffee/phones ignorant that their child is currently trying to decapitate another.
My baby is 12 months and crawling/cruising and I felt very unsafe with her in the baby area. There was one other baby younger, and then mostly 3 +. The age limit wasn’t polices by the staff, and it made it dangerous with bigger kids running, pushing, throwing and standing on fingers. For this reason I won’t take her back until she’s at least 3 and very confident on her feet- then we’ll try the big kid area.

Well where do you start, I have visited 10ns of soft plays being the father of 4 boys and the latest only 4 and this knocks them all into a cockles hat! Clean, friendly staff and the "big daddy" is to die for (and I probably will of I keep eating them every day!). It's so fresh and clean it's like it opened yesterday and I have visit other local soft plays and they didn't loOK this clean and fresh on the day they opened. We will be visiting many times as it's such a welcoming spot - a real find and very dad friendly :) keep it up!

Drove 7 miles with 3 children after seeing this place advertised only to be told when we got there that it was shut for a private party and the children were not allowed to play. Nothing mentioned about this on website. 3 very unhappy children very tearful especially after the long journey.

We love heads over hells in Chorlton but now we are living in Tyldesley so it is too far away. This play area is closest to our home.
Play centre is nice, modern and clean (small, fine for child max.8 years-old). That's all about advantages. I believe that my son had a great time but little things make a difference.
We have been disappointed that ice creams are available for parties only- please try to imagine how frustrating it can be for a child if can see ice creams but can't have it. And add that child is 4 years old with autism so does not really understand. Maybe it will be worth to consider mini ice creams from Lidl or Tesco?
Next disadvantage is menu. I understand that place is local, small but we have been here on Sat., on peak hours, so it will be quite good to have cake and coffe. Not even 1 type of cake available. Can have jelly, banana or chocolate bars.
Ok, lets try to order some food. Nope, again it is unavailable-this time out of stock.
Staff is nice but unexperienced- noone told us what it is included in entry price. Nothing at all. Mess left on the tables for 5minutes at least. I had to clean a table and take a rubbish out because staff does not care.
Average experience, maybe is great for bigger groups. They are busy to be honest only because there are no more options around.

I took my 3 year old for a birthday party and he had a great time.
The venue is great for smaller children, was very clean and the staff were all pleasant and attentive.
I've been to bigger soft play centres with my children over the years but bigger doesn't always mean better. For younger children Toyfields will keep the children occupied whilst there is a cafe for the parents to enjoy a drink and have a rest!
Well worth a visit.

Perfect for smaller children (mine are under 4 and plenty to do.) food was a little expensive but was really nice so can’t complain! very clean and most importantly staff where so helpful and friendly!! Toilets where spotless too.

We had our daughters 3rd birthday party here and what can I say, when I phoned up to boom this the staff were very helpful and friendly on the phone, after we booked it over the phone we popped in to go over the booking an collect the party pack and again the staff explained everything to us again and were so friendly. So the day care for the party and soon as we arrived they greeted us and showed us to the party area which had all been reserved seating so there wasn’t any worrying about seating and so the kids played for an hour whilst the staff were in contact with us letting us know that the food would be ready soon an the party games. After the food we played the party games and we had hired a party princess (Cinderella) who was great with all the kids singing an playing games with all the children. Our daughter ab friends had a great time and ALL the Staff on the day were so Wonderfull and friendly. Would definitely recommend

Hello,
There is a soft play area for the tiny babies (i'd say 3 months up) and then a larger play area for the bigger kids (from about 18 months+) I would say the younger ones would need to supervised all the time in there though as some of the activities are a little difficult for them (tall slide, big steps etc). Good fun though. Plus whilst one is in there supervising the other can have a chill with a coffee and a cake :)
