How very interesting to find out that this hideout for these two famous outlaws was here in Joplin. Would be a fun place to stay at just to be able to say you did.

I’ve been intrigued by Bonnie and Clyde since I was a child. It was great to see their hideout. I only got to see the outside but it was still cool. Very easy to find its location as well. I would love to actually stay the night one day.

It’s interesting but there’s the outside of the building and a sign. We spent about 3 minutes there. Not terribly exciting.

Bonnie and Clyde showed up in Joplin MO, ostensibly to lay low for a couple weeks. Instead, they spent their time robbing a few local establishments. While not stealing stuff, they relaxed in this garage apartment. Basically a photo op….Although you can spend the night via AirBNB. Recommended

If you are in Joplin, you might as well stop by the garage in this quiet neighborhood. Not much to see though…

This is a short drive off the interstate. It is in a subdivision area with street parking. Walk over, read the sign, take a picture or two and keep on going. No tours inside but it is still a nice piece of history.

If you are interested in history and you're on a trip down Route 66, you need to go by and see the apartment where the Barrow gang held up. This is the apartment where they found the roll of film showing pictures that were very published of Bonnie and Clyde. You can't go inside but it is still fascinating to be standing in the same place that this notorious couple were hiding out all those years ago.

Fun Quick nostalgic stop. Price is right .Good photo stop if you are a bonnie and Clyde follower. easy to get to

It’s history. Easy to find - in a nice quiet residential neighborhood. There’s the sign outside so it’s a photo opt but nothing else. It’s a private residence now. If in Joplin yeah, you got drive by it! Otherwise I wouldn’t go out of my way to see it!

It wasn't hard to find this historic shoot out attraction. It is in a quiet neighborhood with established homes all around. I can only imagine, since due to Covid there were no tours, just how that shoot out went down. How desperate Bonnie and Clyde would have been. Great to see history so well preserved.

It is our understanding that the current owners bought this apartment to make it into a bed and breakfast but the massive tornado that hit Joplin soon after wiped out most available housing at the time and they rented out the property to people in need. Now that Joplin is getting back to normal I would think this will soon become a bed and breakfast or at least a landmark that you could tour.
