Quality Row is the main road containing convict buildings. At one end are the barracks. At the other end, the golf course and cemetery. I enjoyed looking through #10 Quality Row the most. It is a renovated convict home but looking like it would have in the early 1800s.

Is a working building not set up for tourist access. A wonderful structure but photography through the day is spoilt by workers cars at the site.

See the review for the Cemetery. Well maintained by a dedicated staff and willing volunteers, to make the visit truly memorable.

Definitely worth a stop just drive on in there is parking inside. There is currently a tent embassy set up protesting the Australian governance of NI. If the main building is open you might be able to have a quick look inside. It is a working building so inside contains no historical information that I could see.

The Barracks is a fabulous Georgian building built by the convicts.Other buildings around the barracks contained kitchens, washhouses, privies, a military hospital, guard room, powder magazine and a well. It’s certainly worth exploring this area as it’s totally steeped in Australian history.

Just loved the Georgian style of architecture of this building which once housed the soldiers and were built during the second settlement by the convicts.. So great to visit and to photograph. The Kingston area is so well maintained and the history preserved for generations to come.
