We walked on part of the very long trail and read much of the information about the Trail of Tears. Lots of people were walking their dogs. We also drove by the children's playground which was very nice.

Great place to bring the kids. Park has been recently renovated to provide more activities for the kids. Wonderful place to have a family or group picnic.

Our family loved Laughlin Park and Roubidoux Park in Waynesville. We visited the Waynesville city park on three separate days while staying outside Fort Leonard Wood with six kids. The Little Heroes Playground is awesome. Small but very thoughtfully planned out, great for kids of all ages.

My Son loved it when he was little we came back to visit our friends and it even got better..The water games are great in the summer time..

This is a beautiful park in an older community. Very clean and well maintained with a variety of activities for the young'uns. More than adequate parking as well. If you are staying or living in the are you should definitely check it out. I understand a lot of community events are also held in the area and it is adjacent to the sports fileds as well.

Not the prettiest I've seen, but a nice park. The Waynesville Community Park has a paved walking trail that runs along the outer perimeter of the park, picnic areas, pavilions, a brand new playground, a soccer field, and a road that runs through the park, with several parking areas. The Roubidoux Creek runs alongside the park on the west side, with easy access from the walking trail.
The entire park was underwater as a result of the flood on April 30, 2017, but damage has been repaired with the exception of some downed trees near the creek, and some damaged fencing around the soccer field. Watch out for snakes. Copperheads have reportedly been seen on the walking path, and cottonmouths in the water, though I haven't seen any.
The park isn't usually too busy, except during scheduled events.

Great remodel. Clean, picnic,playground, easy to find. Small town atmosphere. Friendly people. Close to local shopping

Lovely park for all children. Great equipment, safe environment. Highly recommend it. So nice that it also includes equipment for children with special needs.

This is a lovely, well-maintained park with several picnic tables and picnic shelters. Two large play areas for kids, and a brand-new "Little Heroes" area being built for kids with special needs. The spray pad is a favorite during summer hours. A walking trail connects the park to the Roubidoux Spring park area. Lovely.

If you just want to kick back and enjoy some quiet time and have room for the kids (and dogs) to run, just pull in and find a picnic area. It is a community park. Take it for what it is and enjoy.
