Flying Pig provides the wetsuits including jacket, boots and life vest over the jacket.

That's a great question because we get it a lot! Typically, the Yellowstone River at Gardiner is perfect for families and offers something for nearly all ages. The Flying Pig offers whitewater trips out of Gardiner and we require a minimum weight of 45 lbs to ensure that the life jacket fits well and the experience is super safe. I'm guessing that your 2 year old could be too small. We also offer scenic float trips about 30 minutes to the north in the Paradise Valley where the river is much calmer and allows rafters to relax and take in the scenery. I should mention that this year (2018) is shaping up to be a high water year due to significant snow in the mountains surrounding us. So even the scenic could challenge our normal policies. Don't worry about the river being too rough. August is late in the season so the river will be down and mostly class II. We were actually hoping for more of a III/IV ride.

Hello Kimberlee! Yes, we can definitely accommodate (most) special dietary requests. We just need a phone call or email to let us know in advance. The restaurant who makes our lunches can make the change. Gluten Free is easy to do and as for dairy free, I think we can come close. Hello Jack! You are asking about the Paddle and Saddle activity. We offer this activity two ways. The first is the full day paddle and saddle which offers a 2 hour Horseback Ride at 11am, followed by a hearty lunch and then finishing with the 8 Mile Raft trip. The cost for this is $99 per adult (over 12). The other option is the Paddle and Saddle Express which is a little shorter in length. It offers a 1 Hour horseback ride followed by the 8 Mile Raft (no lunch and shorter ride). We offer the Express 2 times per day (9am and 1pm). The cost for this package is $78 per adult. That is correct, it is $99 for a full day Paddle and Saddle. This price also includes a big lunch. A Paddle and Saddle Express is also offered for $78 that offers a shorter ride of 1 hour and an 8 Mile Raft Trip (same raft trip as the full package). The Express does not include lunch. Both are awesome ways to try out these fun activities!
