Our server at another bar and grill in Crawfprd steered us to the Frontier for breakfast -- great recommendation. The food was plentiful and tasty, the atmosphere friendly and the coffee was so good that we returned the next day on our way out of town to fill our Thermos. What made our experience was the most cheerful server I've encountered in a long while.
This place also makes its own cinnamon rolls and donuts. Yum! It's a simple, down-home kind of cafe. Nothing fancy but clean and good breakfasts. Two long tables of locals -- one for men, the other women -- was an indication that this place is a favorite breakfast spot for residents.
If it's busy, you'll need to be patient as they had only one one server on the Saturday morning we visited. But she'll keep the coffee coming and the food is good, old fashioned and made-to-order. The pancakes were fluffy and light, my eggs were cooked correctly and the breakfast ham was moist and tasty. Six of us ordered different breakfasts and everyone was pleased with their order and the reasonable prices.
