I was impressed how this Nebraska winery could use estate Midwest cold weather grapes and turn out quality wines. Great service. It was a great quick stop.

We drove out to this cute Wine Vineyard to do a tasting. Very reasonable prices and selection. The road getting up to it is a little rough. Gravel roads but once there a nice find!

Pete Johnson is awesome! We loved going here to wine taste. The wine is descent priced and he is very knowledgeable. The portions for wine tasting is spectacular and we loved the wine! Go here if you are ever in North Platte, NE. Thank you Feather River.

We visited during our road-trip honeymoon. We couldn't get in during normal hours, but had emailed Jeff (the owner) in advance, and he kindly offered to open late just for us. Beyond this friendly gesture, he was knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and shared a lot about the history of the place and the wine. The wines were all varied, well-priced, and interesting. The sunset over the vineyard was idyllic. We recommend Feather River very highly!

Great little winery way off the beaten path. I was totally surprised that my GPS got us there, almost. It's not real far off of I80. The young man running our tasting (we were the only ones there) was so nice and did a great job explaining each selection. All wines were uniformly priced at $13. I checked my receipt to make sure. The setting is ultra rural. The winery is not old ( 2001) by vineyard standards but the wine is good and the wines are cold weather grapes with such names as Edelweiss, Red Neck Reserve and Angel Light. Worth the visit

We were very pleasantly surprised by both the warm welcome we received and the wines available for tasting. We loved the Angel’s Light wine, but liked many of the others too. The gentleman serving us was very congenial and there was an area for the kids to play outside. All in all a very delightful afternoon. Tastings were 6 for $6.

Out in the middle of nowhere but the lady was so nice and helpful. Was worth the drive and I liked that the wines were all priced the same. Nice that you could buy any one bottle and not worry about the price.

Even natives to North Platte don't know about this one. A very nice drive to a beautiful setting. Friendly staff was very helpful for a tasting. The grounds are well kept too.

Coming from the wine country of Texas (52 wineries in 38 miles) we did not know what to expect. What we found was only the second winery we had ever tasted at that ALL of the wines merited praise. The friendly staff member and owner/winemaker could not have been more welcoming. Be sure to buy the “six pack”....best deal this side of the Red River!
