We were very happy we took the time to get off the highway and visit this charming collection of antique shops. They have a wonderful selection of items, especially American country craft pieces. The drive through the farmland is very iconic American landscape.

Interesting idea, & the boardwalk was clever as well. Major reason we routed thru North Platte, however difficult to locate even with nav system. We spent the afternoon on that side of town with the winery, grain bins, and a stop @ Pals.
We did appreciate that the merchandise was sorted & each bin had a theme, even if you’re not one who is into antiques, you can go here with your friend who is obsessed and it is an enjoyable experience for both!!

Needed a break off the beaten path. There was a bit of gravel, but well worth it. Someone put out a lot of effort to make an interesting place.

The Tourist Site had the wrong information for times on it, in June 2021 but we were greeted with such kindness and warmth, and they allowed us to walk around the silos, and explore the large barn. This is not risky to visit, a little off the beaten path but well worth it.We will be back to take full advantage of this wonderful spot. Looking forward to our next visit.

What a unique place with WWII era corn bins holding all type of antiques to look at and buy as you walk into each one. We found out about this place at our hotel where there were flyers about it. Takes a few hours to really look at everything and we didn't go away empty handed. To get here you have to go off on a gravel road for 4 miles but there is nice scenery as you are bumping along. Glad we went.

We made the trip to North Platte, NE to go to Grain Bin Antique Town. If you like browsing antiques you will really like this place. It’s unique setting for browsing and fantastic owners make the experience fun. Large selection of rusty gold, which is my passion, and so much more. Customer service is exceptional. Prices are fair.
Only negative - it’s over 600 miles from where I live making it difficult to visit often.
Love this place.
Note: this place is unusual but not risky to visit.

The Grain Bin is up in the hills over North Platte. It is such a fun place with about 12 grain bins loaded with antiques. The steel barn has increased in size and holds even more treasures. Whenever we go from IL to CO, we pass through and make sure we stay the night in North Platte just to go to the Grain Bin. It's my favorite antique location ever.

Owner very friendly. Lots of misc. items but did not find anything I could not live without. Definitley would stop by again if in the area. Never know what you might find.

Loved snooping thru all the grain sheds. People there were wonderfully friendly. Altho it is out of town a ways and down a dirt road it was well worth the trip.

Take Highway 83 south of North Platte to State Farm Road . Go east on State Farm Road about two miles ( go past Walmart distribution center and Newberry access road. You will see a big sign “Grain Bin Antique Town” on the south side of the road which is “ Old Highway 83” - you will then head south 4 miles and you are there!! It’s WELL WORTH the 10 minutes it takes to get there!! If unable to find call the business number 308-539-7401!
