“‪Sparks Marina Park - Fun in the Summer!‬”

‪لقد استمتعنا بضع ساعات في فندق سباركس مارينا بارك على الصيف اللطيفة الصباح. يوجد حمام سباحة لطيف على الشاطئ. كان الناس طويلة الركوب. آخرون وركوب الدراجات والتنزه سيرًا على الأقدام. يوجد أيضا Marina لبدء القوارب. هناك أماكن لطيفة للنزهات. يوجد أيضا ملعب للأطفال. على الجانب الشرقي من البحيرة و شقق، وهي في تقدم ببناء المزيد.‬

‪Every stay is a great stay at Sparks Marina‬

‪We returned to one of our favourite RV stays - Spark Marina. We have include Sparks Marina on every trip in the past six years - excluding covid years. Always well keep - everywhere. The Sparks, Reno, Lake Tahoe, Carson City area continues to be a very fast-growing area. Lots of interesting changes. This year, we found the wild horses at the south end of Reno- Washoe City. (east of the 580).
We enjoyed bringing in Grimaldi's Pizza - a recommendation of the staff.‬

‪Shouldn't have too high expectations in a desert‬

‪I guess we're spoiled, but it was noisy (we had spotted it from I-80 the night before, so no surprise there), and just felt too artificial. Lots of geese. Gave up pretty quickly and headed for Tahoe.‬

‪Loved the walking trail!‬

‪Made the trail walk the start of my morning each day of our stay. Well kept park and trail enjoyed by walkers, a few joggers, and lots of dogs (on leashes) with their humans.‬

‪Great walking trail around the "marina". they also have a off-leash dog park. It would be a 10 star review if they water was clearer/cleaner. ‬

‪It's a pretty park in the middle of this built-up suburb and of course great to find a lake in the middle of a desert environment. Good to have a picnic here.‬

‪Nice paved walking trail‬

‪It’s a great place to go for a walk or jog. It’s completely paved, so stroller friendly. There is also a playground, a dog park, and restrooms with flushing toilets. There is a seasonal snack bar, too. It is a two mile walk to go all the way around.

I would not recommend swimming in the water, as it’s full of goose feces, but it’s a nice place to walk.‬

‪We decided not to go into the water, it smelled funky. We did enjoy the walk around the marina. It was nice seeing families playing at the park.‬

‪Nice park for kayaking, fishing, biking, volleyball, kite flying, roller blading, jogging and just plain walking.‬

‪The City of Sparks did it right by turning this old gravel pit area into a great family park. My wife and I walk around the Marina Park quite often just for the exercise and to get some fresh air. There is a coffee shop and a small ice cream/smoothie shop located along the sidewalk area on the west side of the park. A new restaurant (Marina Bar) will soon open on the east side of the park which will be a great addition to the area. There is a sandy beach for water fun and several sand volleyball courts on the north side of the park. There is also a kids play area in the northwest section of the park and a ramp available for launching your kayaks, canoes or small sailboats. NO gasoline motorized boats are allowed on the water. There are occasional jet ski races that are authorized by the city during the summer and it draws a good crowd.‬
