Short walk to the falls and beauteful waterfall is all yours for an explotarion. Nice trail along the river bank allowes to see the falls from above and bellow.

If you follow the GPS it will take you on Rte 103. There is a road called Profile Falls which you can take past the homes and then turn right into a parking lot. The walk is not the best. Follow the signs to the falls especially the last one. It’s a little tough getting down to the falls but we’ll worth it.

They have a good accommodating and good rooms. Please will like you you to just give a visit and you won't believe your eyes

Closed until further notice according to army corps of engineers website. I've driven by a couple times recently (2021) and still closed. Hopefully some time soon because it sounds beautiful

Cannot add any details, because the site is closed indefinitely.
There is no closure signs anywhere except the entrance where it is not easy to turn around.

Sunday July 12 we tried to visit but were told the parking was full. Today July 26th there was a sign saying Profile Falls was closed - maybe sometime I’ll be able to visit. I’m local but suggest you make a special trip because you may not get in

A short and easy 10 min hike from the parking lot gets you to these gorgeous waterfalls. Be careful when hiking down to the pool, as it's got a short drop to water level.

We took the short walk to the falls and spent a few hours. The water was very cold but there were people swimming. It's a beautiful spot.

Our group went here to cool off during a heat wave. The kids wanted something different from going to Newfound Lake every day. After a short walk thru the woods there is an area with a swimming hole and a waterfall. The water is A bit cool but oh so refreshing and clean.
There is a bit of Rock climbing to get into the hole so I would recommend water shoes or sneakers.
Our kids did cliff jump under the advisement of one of the experienced locals that was there but I wouldn’t recommend it as that area is not that deep and the safe zone to jump in to is not big.

Touring New Hampshire, we tried to revisit a lot of covered bridges, waterfalls, and other sights. We visited in June and when we stopped in at Profile Falls, we did not see another person. But mosquitoes were there in great abundance. Bring repellant and wear long sleeves. To find Profile Falls take Smith River Road to Profile Falls Road then take the one lane unpaved road to the fork in the road--take the very hard right. We did not hike the short distance to the falls due to the mosquitoes. There are trailheads for hiking, a lake for swimming and out houses. There is a web site you can search under Profile falls Bristol NH.
