The farm seems very cute. There was a summer camp happening and I felt that must be an awesome experience for kids. I walked to the wetlands boardwalk and did a small bit of a trail. The trail-maps online aren’t the greatest so I didn’t go in very far, but the woods are beautiful, and there are lovely benches to sit on throughout.

My wife, Golden Retriever, and I entered the back fields and greenhouses on a beautiful late August afternoon. Several items caught our attention.
First, they had several large piles where they were doing mulching. They were obviously using heavy equipment to move and turn the tall piles. Such piles can achieve much higher temperatures than a home mulch pile and allow the mulching of a much wider selection of organic matter.
Secondly, in one of their greenhouses, they were growing cherry tomatoes on a single strong cord, up to an estimated 8 feet. A worker there told me that I could use the same technique for growing cucumbers. I would consider trying this space-saving method of growing cherry tomatoes and cucumbers next year.
Thirdly, they had a lot of instructional material about growing cover crops (winter rye, clover), which I would like to do this fall.

Stonewall farm is so pretty and such a great scenic area whether if your going for a hike, visiting the animals (the cows are my favorite), bringing the kids to the playground, or getting married. This is one place I would definitely recommend going to if in the Keene area. Best time is close to sunset if your into the pretty skyline ☺️ or in the afternoon for hiking or just an adventure with the kids or your friends and family.

My Wife, daughter, grandson and I recently went to Stonewall Farm just to walk about and check out the animals.It was his visit with farm animals and it was just fantastic. We saw ducks, a bunny, cows, horses, 2 goats and 2 sheep. Most everything is on level ground and even a play area with swings. There are many walking trails clearly marked and also level. So, pick a sunny day, go for a bit of a drive and enjoy country living. They also have a farm store with lots of great things to buy.

The building was beautiful the staff was excellent. Went on sleigh ride a bit bumpy which was intimidating to my child. The kids had a really good time. The horses were well cared for. My child was scared due to the size but staff was reassuring and very focused on children and safety. Many friends sent children to summer camp here and loved it. My child never attended. But I would recommend due to high quality staff

I had the trail map downloaded from their website, but when I got there most of the stuff was closed. The farm store was closed, the main bathrooms were closed, and the goats were in a separate pen and there was only 3 of them and 2 sheep. The cows were being cleaned when I was there, so I didn’t get to see those. There was a baby calf outside though and three large horses I got to see.

Wanted to take my daughter here for a day trip. Showed up and they were closed for a private event. Second time they were just plain closed. My fault, should have called ahead i guess. Though the hours are on their site. Just a warning.

Ok, I'll be honest here. I wanted to visit because I saw this place has horses and I love visiting horses!! This is a beautiful place to visit and a great learning experience for any child. They offer summer camp for kids along with a variety of educational workshops. I walked around a little to see what they offer here in the event my granddaughter comes to visit me. They have a lot of dairy cows they milk right there and are certified organic.The cows were happily relaxing in the field across the street from the barn when I was there. They are also a supplier to Stonyfield. That's the brand of yogurt I buy!! There is a small play area for kids and also picnic tables. You could hike, bike or check out the museum there! And yes, I had my camera with me!!

Have been here a few times to greet the animals and connect to the nearby rail trail. If you come during ice cream season be sure to sample some of the locally produced super premium stuff...Awesome!
