It is amazing how a natural formation really does look like an Indian Head! Another surprise in the area! Check out the historic marker as you admire the mountain.

ok kind of disappointed no lunch or dinner menu Short staffed kinda sad staying here for a few days ...breakfast ok

We had the sweetest cocktails ever! They were just oh well with the fact that we didn't like them plus the drinks were super pricey! Recommend drinking elsewhere but it looks like a fun resort. We enjoyed watching people swimming in the outdoor heated pool in 27 degree weather

The room in the original section of the hotel was clean. It looks like some upgrades have been made (new TV, mini fridge, microwave). But it could be so much more! The furniture doesn't match the décor which doesn't match anything - its as if they cant decide if it should be rustic, contemporary, or old. Room and patio chairs are on the cheap side (but I suppose if they were any better they'd get stolen.) The bathroom is annoying - you have to stand on the toilet practically to close the door. Instead of a common accessed sink, just make it all one big room and would've been so much better. Obviously painted with THICK layer of paint as part of reno. Tub drained slow. Restaurant was good for dinner and breakfast with more food provided than we could eat (and the mini fridge was too small to save it). Some of the paddle boats were broken and you didn't know it until you got in and drifted around. Pool looked clean but we didn't go in. Other things need upgrades - gift shop was kinda junky, some back doors were beat up and dirty, some rotten trim and railings screamed "FIX ME and make me look nice!" BIG gap around room door - could see daylight streaming in which probably doesn't help with winter bills!

Great place for a family vacation or a family wedding. We stayed for a family wedding and it was amazing. From the views to the food, everything was great!!!!

Indian Head a a large vast menu. The food is ok but a bit pricey. This is not a place I return often to, this is a once a year kind of place. It has much more to offer than food. It is a magnificent area to get married with a very picturesque pond.

The gift shop had plenty of knick knack and souvenirs available The resort looked nice and the restaurant had good food. The outdoor pool is heated and it and the Hot tube seem to be open year around but I have not been here in the winter.

A very pretty area just below the notch. Hiking trails, state parks, trained bears and a water park nearby. The hotels are poor and very dated though so stay in Lincoln itself to be comfortable.

We've been coming to the Indian Head Resort for the last 26 years when we first stayed here on our honeymoon. The lakeview rooms had been updated since our stay last year and now have an electric fireplace. Also we've noticed that the resort started going downhill and needing repairs over the last several years - it's so good to see that they are beginning to make the necessary repairs and renovations. While we were there they were replacing boards and such. The walkways on the top tier in front of the lakeview rooms are sagging, but with the repairs that appear to be ongoing this will surely be fixed. One of our favorite amenities are the paddle boats. We look forward to hopefully visiting again next fall.
