Another that could use a little cleaning up. Still a nice bridge to stop and see. Easy to find as well. I took a walk down the foot path. Rain was starting so didn’t stay long.

One of many covered bridges in NH. This bridge was easy to find. A nearby church and a picnic area nearby. Walkways on both sides of the bridge. There is an area to pull over so you can explore the sights of this bridge.

We spent about 45 minutes at this beautiful bridge. It has walkways on either side and a two-lane roadway. It is beautiful, historic, and easy to find.

It's a covered bridge, which is fairly common in New Hampshire but this one oozes New England charm during any season. A definite must see for everyone wanting to experience New Hampshire.

We came across this bridge as we were driving through northern New Hampshire. There is a large area for parking, & the picturesque bridge, church, & other historic building & cemetery are all right there. This was an ideal place for many photo opportunities!

I only know of two cases of nearby church and covered bridge. (The other is in West Arlington, VT.) Across the main road from the church, climb up the hill a few yards for a good composition. Don't forget to cross the bridge and shoot back from the other side, including the tree in front of the B&B.

I first saw mention of this bridge in a brochure at my hotel, "The Leaf Peeper's Guide to Autumn in the White Mountains of NH"...it has a section on the map that includes just covered bridges and I saw 8 of them...this Stark Village bridge being the last. It is very difficult to find...the brochure I had said "Northwest of NH 110 at Stark Village"...the problem is if you have a navigation system in your car (well, at least like my VW CC) it doesn't recognize Stark Village. So, Plan B...google the address for the Stark Bridge...I initially got a response that it was the Stark Covered Bridge in Groveton...nope! I look at other results and get North Rd in Groveton...well, I did that and traveled for quite some time...kept forgetting why I was on that road...which went from paved to paved with gravel back to paved...well, you get it! But...low and behold...there is this wonderful bridge over one of the loveliest (not the loveliest) rivers to take pictures of and Stark Village...on the Stark Village side of the bridge was a beautiful old church and a school...a cemetery up on the hill...I love old cemeteries! So...go to Groveton, see the bridge there (and it is a nice one!) then put North Rd Groveton in your navigation system and be patient...what you see in the end will be worth it!
