This was my second visit to this compact Burlington County park. The trails total 2.4 miles with various loops winding through tame forests, flowering crab apple trees, the Rancocas Creek and a few ponds. When it comes to ponds, we're like five year-olds... we love spying the turtles and frogs lurking around the edges.
If you have kiddies, there is a well appointed play area surrounded by picnic pavilions. During both visits, parties took place in the pavilions. If you want a quieter picnic spot, there's a small picnic grove just off the one trail.
The trails are dead easy. The walking is perfectly flat on grass, sand, and, in one annoying place, fresh gravel. Each step sounds like someone is munching potato chips!
The first time we visited was a few years ago, in September, and the little flying vampires better known as mosquitoes were atrocious. This time we visited this past weekend in April, and the weather was perfect.
What is delightful about this park is civilization is a mere minute away, yet you can enjoy silence and the birds singing overhead. That delight is is enough for me!

Great community microhiking/walking park. Several short and very easy trails can be combined into more meaningful walk. Bird blinds for birdwatchers.scenic Rancoccas Creek.Good for patrons of all ages, family and handicapped friendly. Picnic areas well maintained. Clean restrooms near the parking lot.

close to home park. great for taking the dogs,. trails are not long and well kept and marked. there are also bathrooms which is super nice and a playground for small kids.

this is by far the nicest park I have visited in NJ. what a nice day we had. it is not crowded. plenty of picnic area. nice well marked trails, restrooms were very well kept. we will defiantly go back to this park in Burlington county

Great park, well maintained...awesome trails along the scenic Rancocas Creek...this park is also great for kids, playground on the premises

While there is a great playground for kids- there are lots of paths in the woods to walk as well! We love taking out dog here to hike in the woods. Always quiet and clean.

The trails are easy and very well kept. A pleasant fishing area also offers a picnic table on the Rancocas creek, with other picnic areas close by. Deer are often spotted and ther couple of ponds with turtles and toads, along with birding view points. A super play park will entertain the little ones for a few hours and the bathrooms are clean and inviting. I always enjoy walking or running here.

Plan a picnic with the family, walk the dogs, or just spend the day in a nice park. This park has nice swings, clean bathrooms, and enough nature walk paths for a couple of hours of fun and freedom to think.

This is a nice park for nature walks. It borders the Rancocas creek so their is a chance to see water birds and turtles.

When I just don't want to visit the gym, I walk through this park. There are always plenty of white tail deer and birds galore. My resting spot is along the Rancocas creek where I sit on the bench and lose the cares of the day. Pack a lunch. You'll want to savor this little gem!
