There's a saying, "The Show Must Go On"...and on it did today. After the CoVid hiatus our Sloatsburg Senior Group was back to HH to enjoy Sherlock Holmes Returns. After a wonderful luncheon by polite and efficient staff under the revamped interior of HH the show began. Since this musical was interactive it only added to the fine performance skills of the actors and actresses. But alas and alack a nearby transformer fire threw the venue into darkness. Without missing a beat the host Doctor D sprung into action acquiring transformers and the entire cast now assumed an acapella performance to our complete enjoyment. So, yes, The Show DID Go On and kudos to the cast and staff who pooled their talents to make our day as perfect as we have always expected from HH. Thank you, Phyllis from the Bronx

The Irish Cabaret show would have been good if they did not spend so much time plugging their CDs, The dinning room was full and we were packed in like sardines. Getting up to use the restrooms was a task. In addition they did not have enough wait staff. There was nothing exceptional about the food. I would hesitate to go back.

Made my first trip to the Hunterdon Hills Playhouse last night for the Christmas show. It was a phenomenal evening. The food was great. The service was great. The performers and the orchestra were great. The place was decorated beautifully. We were a party of 18 (half of us Christian; half of us Jewish), and as a jewish girl myself, the first thing i noticed when i walked in was the Christmas tree topped with a Star of David. There were also a couple of references in the show about Hanukkah, which was greatly appreciated, as my holiday is usually not recognized.

I thought the Christmas Show was TERRIFIC. I saw the Christmas show and it really puts you in the Christmas spirit and makes you feel happy. It makes you forget all the negativity going on in the world now because the show is so uplifting.
The singers and dancers couldn't be any better. The costumes were beautiful.
The Choreographer did a magnificent job.
I would advise everyone to see this magnificent show. Plus you will enjoy a delicious dinner.

A group of us attended Hunterdon Hills Playhouse and its entertainment by the Jersey Tenors. This was the Playhouse's first week after being closed for some time. The service, food (COVID cautions for handling deserts) and entertainment were superb. Our group can't wait for our next visit. The venue and its entertainment are highly recommended. Nice job Hunterdon Hills Playhouse and Jersey Tenors!

The Playhouse should issue a refund when the principal passes on. The purchaser of the tickets became home bound after purchasing 3 tickets to a play and, subsequently, passed on. They have refused to refund the tickets even though they initially said they would. They offered that the purchased tickets could be used in the future. Really??? Who was supposed to use them.
When considering going to this playhouse, one should insure that the refund policy (or lack thereof) is fully understood.

If you need to relax and have a good laugh the play Sherlock Returns is for you. The actors and actress were very good. Food was good and you can buy a special drink to enjoy.

This is a great place to catch a show and dinner. We caught a play and enjoyed it thoroughly. Then we came back again for another concert. It's a great place to go the food is delicious and the service is great.

First time at the dinner theater and chose the 1pm show. We arrived at 11:30am and were seated right away. The restaurant is large and not a bad seat anywhere. We had a choice of about six entrees. The four of us chose the cod, turkey and fried shrimp dinners. All platters were good, expect banquet quality food. The rye bread on the table was very fresh and a treat. The dessert bar is huge, and has something for everyone, from cake, pies, tarts and mousse. The band and lead singer for the Karen Carpenter show was excellent. The sound quality and performance was above average. This overall is a great value. We will definitely come and see another show. Staff was very friendly.

This is a beautiful place to visit for the Christmas holidays. I went with my senior citizen group from the Bronx for lunch and the show. When we got there we order our lunch, then we went to the gift shop I bought some gifts then I got bread and cookies to take home. The lunch was good and we had a variety of desserts to pick from. The Christmas show was beautiful and also funny. We took a lot of pictures by the huge Christmas tree. I am assuming for the summer it has to be a gorgeous place to visit, have fun and see a show.

Yes, the town of Clinton is nearby, about ten minutes away, and is charming with a lot of main street stores and shopping. If you feel like heading to Sands Casino in Bethlehem, Pa, it is about half an hour away. And then there is Flemington NJ, with loads of outlet shopping, about half an hour away.

What time should I arrive for a Sunday, 2:30 performance?

Plan on arriving by2:30pm. Entrees are served first so you can enjoy your meal and the fabulous dessert buffet at your leisure. The show portion of your visit takes place after the meal is over. Please let us know if you need any more information, and we hope you enjoy the show!

Planning to see BEATLEMANIA. Never been to HH Playhouse. Before I purchase tickets, can somebody tell me why I can't see a Seating Chart on the web to find out where the seats will be?

The seating plan varies based on the size of the audience. There is not a single place where you can't see or hear clearly. If you make the reservation, let the reservationists know if you have any sight/hearing issues or walking issues and they will seat you where you would be most comfortable. There truly isn't a bad seat. Have fun!

over the years I have visited playhouses, and the casual attire appears to be the accepted way of dressing.this playhouse is no exception.
