I had thought that Depiero's Farm had closed for business but the family had developed the newer part of the farm and reopened their original farm stand and greenhouses off to the side on the original site of the farm. I thought that was really interesting.
The farm stand has nice baked products like cookies and pies, homemade jellies and pickles along with fresh peanut butter. There are all sorts of fruits and vegetables to choose from along the tables. Since it is the start of the season the selection is somewhat limited but still nice.
After you visit the stand, make your way over to the greenhouses to see the latest plants that are coming in and being grown. There will be more to see as the weather gets warmer and the plants start to grow.
It is a nice afternoon out.
