I booked this trip for my husband and daughter. Our family has been on many fishing charters but I have to say that today’s trip overall ranks #1 for our family. Everyone was so nice and professional, to see the biggest smile on my daughters face when she got home today absolutely made my day. This was the first time we booked with these guys. Unfortunately my son and I had to work and missed today’s trip but after hearing how great of a time they had today we will definitely be booking again but next time my son and I will be joining them. Thank you to the Captain and crew for keeping my family safe and showing them a great time. I can’t wait to cook up some of their great catches today. Proud of my hubby for catching the biggest fish today as well. He was very happy about that 😂

We paid for dolphin and whale watching and ended up seeing just one whale that we were able to get some pictures of. We were disappointed to have paid more and didn’t see any dolphins. The boat was fast the entire trip except when viewing the whale. Most people come on this trip to get the alcoholic beverages but we actually wanted more for our money because drinking can be done anytime. Staff were nice and knowledgeable and able to answer all questions. I probably will not go on this trip again.

Were you truly aboard the Queen Mary? Yes we do whale and dolphin watch trips. The alcohol is the confusing part of your review. We do not sell alcohol aboard the Queen Mary. Some patrons may pack a cooler with a few. This is usually a trip filled with families and marine mammal enthusiasts. The whole idea is to find and view Whales and dolphins. It’s never a guarantee but we usually do find a whale or some dolphins and many trips both. The whole Jane Doe username is sketchy to begin with. We found a whale and maybe you got to view and take a pic. If you were really aboard. We did our job of finding you a marine mammal. Not sure how that translates to a one star review. It’s a big ocean and it’s not so easy to find marine mammals everyday.

Their sunset cruises with live music are simply the best!
We just had my husbands 60th bday surprise bash on the Queen Mary and it was better than we could have ever imagined. Beautiful, clean boat, Capt Dave so efficient and helpful in the planning, the crew great, and the Mangos band was the icing on the cake! We never stopped dancing, eating and drinking with 60 of our family and friends. Plenty of room- gorgeous waterways views- just awesome and a perfect night and memory for the ages. Thank you Capt Dave and the Queen Mary! I never write reviews, but had to, because we had the night of our lives, and all of our guests have said the same. We couldn’t more highly recommend the Queen Mary!

Thanks so much for the AWESOME review! I’m so glad your trip aboard the Queen Mary was all you were hoping for. Cruising the tranquil inland waterways on a gorgeous summer evening with some live music is hard to beat. Hope to have your group aboard again in the future. We book private cruises for all occasions.

The website advertises fishing for several types of fish. Captain elected to spend first hour heading north along coastline to go after only one fish (bluefish). In the 7 hours on the boat, our lines were in the water for max of one hour. Forty people fishing, only one (ONE) bluefish keeper. Captain never switched to using bait. His excuse was the winds were too high. he should have canceled the charter and re-booked us for another trip. Instead, he wanted his money. And the slap in the face, he had the crew hand out $ 7.00 coupons off next charter. Between fares and rental of poles, I spent near Five Hundred dollars for me, wife and two kids. I've fished on several charters in NJ over the years, and never had a captain so greedy and arrogant. DO NOT FISH WITH THIS CAPTAIN - you will waste your money.

Sorry you felt we didn’t do our best. When the forecast is wrong, all I can do is my best. Number one is keep my customers comfortable and safe. Unfortunately, the weather forecast for diminishing winds was incorrect. Had the winds backed off as predicted we would have ventured off the beach to try something else.

I haven't even gone out on the trip yet, but captain Dave deserved a 5 star review for the way he handled my situation in regards to a scheduling conflict. We had purchased tickets off of Groupon and our trip was cancelled. Problem was it is set to expire before I can find a date to reschedule. Called and left a message. He called me back promptly and was more than willing to accommodate me so that I didn't lose out on the trip. Anyone who already has your money and is still willing to go above and beyond is exactly the kind of person I want to give my repeat business to! So we will be sure to book this trip at least one or 2 more times after this upcoming trip. Thank you Capt Dave for being a stand up businessman!

My family and I went on a fishing trip on the Queen Mary on Sunday June 20th from 3-8pm. As per the advertisement on the Queen Mary website, we expected a safe and family friendly fis
Initially, the crew made pleasant conversation. They showed us how to put the bait on the hook and use the reels. They were supportive of us with our questions. Midway through the trip, the family friendly relaxed fishing trip scene changed.
There was a lot of adults drinking alcohol and using marijuana. Once the sea got choppy, drunk and high adults were vomiting. One man was laid out on the deck with a shirt over his head. Another man was so drunk he fell on me. H reeked of alcohol. A child was sitting on the floor in fetal position while adults around him were smoking blunts.
The sea was so choppy that my son vomited twice on the ship. He was holding on tight to rails and vomiting. He felt extremely dizzy afterwards. When I sat with him on a bench, we observed two men rolling blunts and puffing away as my son gasped for fresh air. The smell of vomit, alcohol and marijuana was all over the boat. We left the shop with chunks of vomit on us. My son said, “I just wanted to go fishing with my dad on Father’s Day. That ship ride was hell.” And it was horrible. It ruined our Father’s Day celebration.

Our fishing charter on the Queen Mary was an awesome experience. The staff was phenomenal, fishing plentiful and experience memorable. We spent 7+ hours out on the seas finding some of the best fishing locations. Not only did we score a lot of fish (I caught 8), we were able to bring home what we caught. The crew even cleaned and filet our catch. The Queen Mary crew was truly accommodating and deserving of a tip for ensuring every guests had their own fishing memory.

Last night we went on a private charter with the Queen Mary. We were 10 families - 40 people in total. We saw humpback whales, went fishing, rode around the ocean, witnessed a beautiful sunset and capped the great evening off with fireworks from Pt. Pleasant.
With Covid it has been hard to find activites that are safe and fun for the kids this summer. The Queen Mary gave us ALL a relaxing, exciting and awesome experience that we will not forget anytime soon.
