‪We will be going back next season. Time on board was wonderful, crew was amazing, captain was wonderful. Everyone was very knowledgeable about the bay, the history, the ecosystem and the environment. I would definitely recommend this day trip to anyone looking for something unique to do.‬

‪One awesome sail‬
أغسطس 2021
‪This was an awesome sail. The crew was just as amazing with talks on the history and the surrounding environment. Loved getting the chance to help hoist the sails. Also loved the moments of song and poetry. Just the time to sit back relax and just enjoy the sounds of the bay. Plan on going back for their wine and cheese sail‬

‪Always a fantastic time sailing with captain and crew of the AJ Meerwald. Education, history, birding and sailing combined. More bald eagles than I could count.‬

‪Bay Sail‬
يوليو 2021
‪We took a four hour Bay Sail on the A J Meerwald, New Jersey’s tall ship. The ship is beautiful. The crew were personable, professional and full of knowledge about the ecosystem, the area and the history of the ship. Four hours was a little long for some, but it gave us time to sit back and just enjoy the quiet, peaceful water.
Back at the dock we had good food (oysters for all) and were able to have local beer and wine. My only regret is that, because it was Sunday, the museum closed before we had finished our sail‬

‪Local History‬
سبتمبر 2020
‪The museum was a welcome surprise. It was a great opportunity to learn more about a local once booming oyster industry. The museum was well organized and it was a lot bigger than I expected. Next time I will plan ahead and schedule a boat ride which is available.‬

‪Given the importance of the oyster industry in Delaware Bay, this is a must place to visit. Great little eating place has probably the freshest oysters available ‬

‪Interesting place of local and regional historical interest‬
أغسطس 2018
‪The small museum and the whole original building complex are very interesting. It might be particularly special to explore this place during one of the Second Friday of the month events when everything is festive and vibrant.
For us it was interesting to see all the gathered artifacts, pictures and other items some with narrative explanations. We already knew quite a bit about the fascinating history of oyster industry and its heyday but this was our first time in Bayshore Center. We did combine this visit with the Second Friday event and Purple Martins Spectacular boat tour.
There is ample parking and a marina nearby.
If life takes you to South Jersey this is the place to visit. They are asking for donations but there is no formal admission fee charged.‬

‪Worth the trip‬
العائلة • يوليو 2018
‪A useful exploration of the once booming oyster industry dominated Southern New Jersey. The museum is small, well organized with great displays featuring the words of local workers, shuckers and sailors. The 8 min informational video is good as is the sparse but informative native American exhibit. The sheer volume of oysters dredged from the bay is astounding. It's a delight to see this valuable and environmentally vital industry reborn through local entrepreneurs!‬
