Lovely old cemetery and we almost missed it. Worth your momentary stop due to locally meaningful history connotations. Both white and Indian families found their final resting place here. Oldest graves are 1700c and 1800s. Earliest graves were behind the church. Most of the markers are too blurry and weathered and cannot be easily read. Famous Ann Roberts, known as “Indian Ann” who was the last of the Delaware Indians was buried here in 1894. She was the daughter of a Delaware chief.
For tourists interested in history this is in a sense a major attraction.

It's hard to miss the Tabernacle Cemetary--along with the town hall and Nixon's General Store, it's what passes for "downtown" around here.
Their big claim to fame is the final resting place of Indian Ann, allegedly the last of the area's Lenape tribe
The graveyard is well maintained and cleaned up regularly by the local Boy Scouts.
