Very nice library with plenty for the kids to do. Nice atmosphere, modern, very clean and an area for little kids to play.

The only negative remark is the pay to park lot. It can be costly if you intend to stay in the Library

There are two floors with a lot of books, dvds research materials, etc. comfortable chairs and seating so you can really relax there. Also, check out their book sales!

Even those who apparently don't know how to read (like the "gentleman" pictured) visit the library.
Despite the prominent place of the speech in the history and popular culture of the United States, its exact wording is disputed. The five known manuscripts of the Gettysburg Address in Lincoln's hand differ in a number of details, and also differ from contemporary newspaper reprints of the speech. Neither is it clear where stood the platform from which Lincoln delivered the address. Modern scholarship locates the speakers' platform 40 yards (or more) away from the traditional site in Soldiers' National Cemetery at the Soldiers' National Monument, such that it stood entirely within the private, adjacent Evergreen Cemetery.

Ocean Cty. Library on Washington St. in downtown Toms River, NJ is our best kept secret. Out of towners need not apply. LOL This is truly one of the best libraries one can visit. Besides a friendly, knowledgeable and professional staff, this library will meet the needs of most visitors. A solid reference dept., computer classes, videos, children's section, and a coffee shop. The library also offers many programs in Mancini Hall catering to the community. The Ocean Cty. Library is the place to visit when downtown TR.

This is a very clean and inviting library, I was there for a show. While waiting, I signed up for my library card which was very fast and the staff was very friendly.

This is a really nice library. It is my go to place for WI-FI when I am down the shore. It is centrally located downtown with many places to eat nearby. The parking is ample and close to everything. You will enjoy your visit and return frequently.

In any season the Ocean County Library is one of the best things the County Government has to offer. Whether your 8 or 80, there's always something there to interest you.
I have lived in Ocean County since 1974, and in my opinion, it gets better every year.
Stop in to see that it's more than just BOOKS!

This library appears to be a real gem. It has wonderful art work outside the library teasing you to come in and learn something.
Inside, it is bright and welcoming. No crammed dark corners in this library. All is bright and open and light. Come see, look, explore, borrow, and learn.
