Brad took us for a complete day around several wineries. We had a great time, he knows almost all the wineries and picked the ones that fitted very well our requirements ( combination of small unknown and one greater winery, including a lunch at a small winery). We have done many tastings in our lives including wine and food pairing, but the cheese and wine pairing Brad had selected for us was the best ever. Never tasted a line up so well matching. Brad is a very kind guy, telling a lot also about landscape, culture, history and recent developments. We were with 4 ( parents with son(23) & daughrt(20) and all liked the whole day very much. Visited five wineries, tasted 29 excellent wines! Highly recommended!,

My husband and I spent had two amazing tours with Brad. We had a lovely tour of the Cape Lands hitting the best sites. We then went on the best wine tour we’ve ever done (including tours in Napa, Bordeaux) hitting seven different stops! Brad was so knowledgeable, accommodating, clearly well liked by all of the winery staff and an absolute pleasure to spend two days with. It was also great to be driven around in such a great car! Can’t say enough good things about Brad and his tour. Look no further!!

We had a great time with Brad on our private winetour! Brad is very passionate and has a great knowledge of the winelands but also about South Africa(n) (history)! You can also customize your tour as you go... So we say.. Book with Brad!

Fantastic time, Brad went above and beyond 👍😊 he is very knowledgeable and made the day interesting and enjoyable. We visited four wine tasting vineyards and had a lovely lunch at one.

Get away from the crowds of your buses and the Tram and book a private tour with Brad! We received some great suggestions from Brad including where to go for our wine and cheese tasting, got to see a smaller boutique winery and filled in all of the wineries that were also on our list.
You get to go at your own pace, can stay as long or short as you want at each stop, make changes along the way and you have great conversation as well as information along the way. Plus you get to go to some of the most beautiful properties that the tram does not.

We did a private, customized tour with Brad and couldn't have better things to say. He was very knowledgeable of the area and the wine, but also accommodating to ensure we stopped at a few wineries we had specifically requested to visit. All the stops and suggestion Brad made were on-point (especially the cheese pairing). Would highly recommend Unwind Franschhoek with Brad!

My husband and I booked a full day tour with Brad for our short stay in Franschhoek, as we wanted to get the most out of our limited time there. We communicated with Brad prior to our arrival to let him know our interests and a brief outline for the day.
We originally wanted to visit some vistas/viewpoints as well as do wine/food tasting, but due to the poor weather we skipped this part. Brad gave us a detailed and in-depth background to Franschhoek, which we found very interesting. He picked us up from our B&B at 10am and after giving us a bit of a history lesson, we began the wine tasting at a vineyard situated just down the road. We visited some more vineyards/wineries and then stopped for lunch at Ridgeback winery, which was very picturesque and reasonably priced.
It was great to have Brad take us to these places, as we could really enjoy the day without having to worry about anything else. He was good conversation and shared his experiences of living in South Africa with us. We would certainly recommend booking a tour with Brad to get the best out of Franschhoek and the surrounding area.

We have used Brad twice now and can't recommend enough. He really knows his stuff, is friendly and courteous, and delivers a superb private wine tour. Don't think twice just book!

We had a perfect, personalised and private wine tour with Brad. We started off with a wine and cider tasting at Solms-Delta. We then moved to Fairview in Paarl for an AMAZING cheese and wine pairing tasting, then over to neighbouring Spice Route Farm where we enjoyed a dark chocolate tasting and learnt about the chocolate making process. By this time we'd worked up an appetite and Brad took us over to the stunning Stark-Conde winery where we ate at the Post Card Cafe with views of the mountain, we then went on to the lake for our wine tasting! It was such a beautiful and breath taking place as you can see from the photos I've uploaded! Our final stop was Moreson and there we did the bubbly tasting, a perfect finish to a great day.

Brad was excellent. He met us at the restaurant where we were having lunch and drove us to four vineyards for a four hour wine tour. We had a great day with him. He is very flexible and was happy to adjust the tour to our requirements. He also does Cape Town tours and other tours in the area. We highly recommend him.

Is petite fermentation or Tokara anywhere near

La Petite Ferme is in Franschhoek and Tokara 20 mins towards Stellenbosch.
