... it was to join a tour along this way. We had a great guide and along the way enjoyed the scenery and our visit to this place. YMMV

After you pass a particular point you are required to pay, which us perfectly fine. However that particular pay point does not accept card payments (in the year 2023)! You are then sent all the way to the toll gate (at the very end of the drive to make payment. Once there you are required to pay to exit & if you want to go back (the way you came) you need to pay again to “re-enter”. Absolute joke!

This is a beautifully scenic drive. Lots of twists and turns with beautiful vistas around every curve. Definitely one of the world's most spectacular drives.

Apart from being a short to the south this road has some stopping points with excellent views and nearby scenic walks

We stopped to see and breath that ocean air! Absolutely gorgeous. Careful of the wind!!!! It was so windy today. Had a craft vendor with the sweetest beaded animals. Good spot for a picnic!

Chapman's peak est un grand promontoire rocheux à la géologie intéressante et offrant de très belles vues sur la mer. La route panoramique qui le longe est très belle (nombreux petits parkings pour s'arrêter) (NB : péage pour la parcourir).

We regular cycle up and down Chapies and always admire the vie from the top. Be careful of baboons if you have food.

séjour début mars 2017. à faire mais lors d'une boucle! si vous faite l'aller et retour depuis le Cap, vous paierez 2 fois le péage. faites le lors d'une boucle et plutôt dans le sens retour vers le Cap, la vue sera plus sympa tout du long.
