They advertise that these scooters would be good to go up in the mountains and you could see bears and other wildlife, but they wouldn't go up hills. The man running the show had a hard time finding 2 scooters for us. The scooters definitely need some tlc. The address in the pamphlet was incorrect. We had fun and rode for hours, but I wish the scooters would've allowed us to go further up into the mountains.

First of all the address on the brochures was wrong. Secondly, they claim these are good for traveling up the mountain to see bears and such. They will NOT go up hills. These scooters are not well maintained. He had a difficult time finding 2 of them in good enough condition for both of us to ride. He had told usu if we had any problems with the scooter to bring it back. When we tried there was nobody at the shop. It was fun, but it could have been more fun had the scooters been in better working condition. Make sure and take sunglasses or glasses, as the City of Ruidoso requires them and will ticket you if you do not wear them while riding the scooter.
