‪Nice small lake...not much else. Some sitting areas....needs a bathroom. Ice cream truck there in summer months.‬

‪I love Argyle Park, specially during Spring and Summer. You can have nice walks and even take your pets with you. Great scenery for pictures and the gazebo is great for wedding pictures. I lived in Babylon Village and still go back to Argyle Park from time to time.‬

‪Not a bad park. As we continue our journey of local parks due to Corona we biked here. Not a long trail but good for joggers. No bathrooms but very pretty and relaxing. Small playground that was open at the time.‬

‪Tonight was a beautiful night. My husband and I took a ride to Argyle Park and walked the trail around the lake a few times. It’s a beautiful peaceful park with an easy walking trail. ‬

‪Leptosporosis ALERT‬

‪Our dog succumbed to a leptospirosis infection in the days following a visit to Argyle park. We were in the middle of a heatwave and we walked after a rainstorm, the dog licked puddles. Lepto is zoonotic so vets are often lax in reporting infections. Our dog presented with all the symptoms.LEPTO is preventable with vaccination but not all strains are covered and it is often difficult to tolerate for smaller dogs.‬

‪The Park is a fun place to go and take a walk, exercise, walk your dog, feed the swans, take your lunch and enjoy the serene atmosphere. Many wedding parties go there and take photos ,also graduating classes, birthday parties, etc. Make sure you bring your cameras, also your walking shoes! Best place all year round for a run.‬

‪I grew up in West Islip and came here often. First to the playground as a child and then to fish as a young man. It is exactly the same. Thank God for planned town communities!‬

‪Beautiful park set on the grounds surrounding Argyle Lake.
There is nice friendly walk/ride path around the park with benches to stop and rest or enjoy the view.
For those that bike ride, the "loop" around the lake is a nice stop before taking the bike paths through the Babylon Preserves on your way up to Belmont Lake State Park!.‬
