A place to enjoy a beautiful sunny day along the south shore of Long Island.You will be able to have a great day and if you have pets they are allowed . It is a short walk to the Great South Bay no swiming but beautiful views.

We enjoy taking our dog Blu here as there is a dog run. Nice trails down to water. Bathroom facilities and dog watering area.

The park was always a nice place to take a walk with your dog (on leash of course). But now they've added THREE new dog runs. Large dogs (over 35 pounds), small dogs and a dog agility course. A great place to meet other dog owners and for your dog to make new friends. Just bring your own chair. There's only one small bench for 3. Hopefully there will be more benches added in the future.

This is a great park if you are looking for a nice place to walk your dog or just enjoy nature. October is good for foliage and the view of the bay is very nice as well.

It's a dog beach folks. So yes, you don't go in the water and there's lots of mosquitoes around the swampy bits. But thats mostly around the waterfront area. Our dog enjoyed running around that area while we sat and watcher her play. There are plenty of beautiful trails to walk around in the woods. We saw soooooooo many bunnies in the area and their babies. It was so nice. It was all very clean and well maintained which was very nice to see.

This is a place that your dog will love and seeing his joy will make your day! A beautiful walk to an incredible Great South Bay view. South Shore nature and a day in the park.Wonderful.

So I traveled an hour with my family and French Mastiff because we were looking for a dog friendly beach.
There's a nice playground with trails that lead you to the water but I wouldn't call it a beach. It's a strip of sand, and you can't swim in the water. We were pretty disappointed with the "beach" part. The rest of the park was great for dogs

Pretty walking trails that lead to the small beach with a view of Fire Island and the Robert Moses Bridge. A fishing pond, a playground, and a dog area. Walking down the paths, you're sure to come across four footed friends on leashes enjoying the park.
