‪Outstanding music venue. ‬

‪We had a marvelous time at Phelps Mansion listening to the Blue Velvet Band. The music was great and their vocalist was wonderful. Refreshments were available, parking was ample and the venue was perfect.
An added bonus was the couples that came out to dance to the music. They were a treat to watch.‬

‪If you are in the Binghamton area and love history, must see!‬

‪Our family had a great time visiting the mansion which was built in 1870! If you live history and are in the Binghamton area, do yourself a favor and go. Our tour guide was awesome and I like the fact afterwards they let us walk around the house to take pictures. Highly recommend!‬

‪Wonderfully preserved mansion from yesteryear. Great woodwork and furnishings, interesting family story (and a connection to Simsbury CT if you are from that area). Excellent tour guide as well!‬

‪Great place, great tour‬

‪We visited the Phelps Mansion Museum on Saturday, May 27th for an eleven o’clock tour. Our tour guide (Joe) was a very pleasant and knowledgeable tour manager. He had an incredible store of stories and tales of the history and the construction of the mansion. We really enjoyed his guidance throughout this museum. I would recommend that this be a great stop during any stay in Binghamton.‬

‪Delightful and Educational Experience‬

‪We were traveling back from Niagara Falls to New Jersey and decided to stop halfway in Binghamton. We looked online to see what’s best to do in this quaint city and this tour was the number one recommended thing, and now I understand why. Our tour guide Helen knew everything and anything about the mansion, it’s past owners, the history of the woman’s club, and the city’s founding. She was warm and welcoming and answered every question we had. If you are looking for something to do that’s inexpensive, not time consuming, and educational, I would highly recommend touring this museum. The inside is something straight from the Gilded Age and the tour guides available are amazing!‬

‪Enjoyable for the whole family!‬

‪Our visit to the Phelps Mansion Museum was interesting and educational. Our guide was passionate about the house and extremely knowledgable. Our kids range in age from 8 to 21 and everyone was fascinated by what we learned. Highly recommend.‬

‪I enjoyed this tour of the beautiful mansion. We took the Death and Mourning in the 19th Century tour and it was very interesting. The mansion had many stories and information about how a love's one death was conducted during that time.‬

‪great community events and resource that is not easily duplicated‬

‪Love Phelps Mansion! They have various events that are original and interesting. Just attended a Halloween event with my friend from out of town and we both enjoyed it! We were lucky to get tickets as they had almost been sold out. The events are original and the staff is friendly and educated.‬
