We hiked this mountain to get to the fire tower at the top and what a great hike. And the reward at the top with the views were amazing! We were there recently to view fall colors and it did not disappoint!! Just amazing!!

Hiked Hurricane from Route 9N (there are two other trailheads as well). Steady climb up the mountain with some rock scrambling near the end. Lots of open bare rock with 360 degree views. Fire tower has been restored and can be climbed for even better views. About 7 miles round trip.
